Blake was resting his eyes as he lay back in the psychiatrist's chair. He kept the same blank expression with his eyes closed as he did when they were open. The room was reasonably large and was decorated in shades of brown, green, and red. The room was lifeless apart from Blake, who remained lying on the bed. "So how have you been since we last met?", said the psychiatrist as he leaned into Blake's line of sight. Blake opened his eyes and saw the doctor sitting at his desk. "I am feeling worse than I did before," Blake answered, "I...have...", "It's ok," the doctor interrupted, "take your time."
Blake stared the clock on the adjacent wall to the bed. "I...have...feelings for this girl...I don't enjoy the feeling though, it's as if my heart can't cope with the feeling. I see her everyday at school so the inevitability of us talking to each other is there, I know it is." The doctor just nodded even though Blake wasn't looking at him. "You say you know you have to talk to her?" the doctor asked, "Why is that?" Blake turned over to face the doctor and stared straight into his eyes, "It's because I love this girl!" he shouted. He started to cry, tears ran down his cheeks. Then the blood appeared, the doctor stood up ready with a pack of tissues. "It's ok, It's ok. You don't need to cry, I think you need to talk to this girl, maybe ask her about what she likes or if she enjoys your kind of music. Trust me, as your friend, I can guarantee that is better than any medication I can give you." Blake closed his eyes, when he opened them, the room was different. The colours had changed and the doctor was no-where to be seen. Out of the corner of his eye, Blake saw the girl. He turned and looked at her. He was about to open his mouth when suddenly the room burst into flames, he spun round looking a way to escape but the only door was the one the girl was standing next to. He ran to the door and the girl grabbed his arm. "If you go out the door, you will lose all memory of me," the girl said. Blake backed away slowly into the room as the door and the girl were consumed by fire. Blake now standing in the centre of the room was surrounded by flames. They drew closer to him and he could feel the burning and it struck him down with pain.
When Blake opened his eyes he was in the psychiatrists room but the doctor was no-where to seen.
