First day back

I was rudely awoken by the very annoying sound of my alarm clock going off, I looked at the time and it read 10:40, I had to be at the hospital in 20 mins!! I quickly got up, got dressed and went downstairs to find Lexie and April in the kitchen,

"Hey, April what are you doing here?" not meaning to sound mean

"Oh hey, Jackson and I got a little bit too drunk,so Meredith said we could use the spare rooms"

"Ok,i was just curious, what time do you leave for the hospital at?"

"About 10 mins why?" Lexie replied

"I'm leaving in about 10 mins too, can we go in together, ya no first day back, I'm a little nervous" I asked

"Yea sure, I'm gonna go and find my car keys and I'll drive us there, there is no reason to use two cars!!"
So when Me and Lexie were ready we set off for the hospital and when we got to the entrance I stopped.

"Lily,what's wrong?" Lexie asked with genuine concern in her voice. And that's when the flashback started:

It was a normal day and Seattle Grace hospital, when a John Doe came in, he'd been dragged by a bus.I was waiting for George to get back so we could have a movie night back at Meredith's.

Dr Hunt asked me to scrub in, even though I'm a Paeds person but they needed all the help we could get.

That's when Meredith went into the room with the now conscious John Doe

After a few minutes, there were screams,

" Oh god,oh god!!!"

*End of Flashback*

"Wha-Nothing, I'm fine!" I assured her and we walked into the hospital.

As I walked in, loads of people came and welcomed me back, and even Dr Webber gave me a hug.

I started to go into the on-call room, when I noticed there was a figure in there- shirtless figure might I add-.

"Oh,um sorry,I didn't know you where in here!!!" I exclaimed quickly turning around

"Oh, sorry it's alright, I'm not really meant to be here anyway" I heard him chuckle
I turned around but with my hands still over my eyes.

"I'm dressed, you can uncover your eyes now" He said still chuckling

I felt a pair of hands peel my hands from my eyes, and suddenly I was staring back at a pair of beautiful greeny-blue eyes. Jackson Avery.

"Hey Jackson" I said sheeply

"Hey Lily" He said with amusement in his voice.
