"I need to act fast, I should do something", I said to myself as dad left  for work that day, or else I will just become a prospect of history as the girl that lost her life.

I decided to write them a message for which cause, I went to the computer, the one which was always on the desk beside the shelf of books in the sitting room. And I started to type. The letters started appearing on the screen okay, but there was something wrong the letters were backwards.
Now I knew that everything was definitely nuts.

Soon I decided to write with plain old pen and paper but the same thing happened, I was writing as is normal to write but the letters came out upside down.
It was rather weird and scared me silly, so I wrote backwards and the letters were alright, it took a while to compose the message but then it burnt!!
My hand had been on the paper for a while and it burnt the paper, why???
I would later come to understand.

I really needed a shrink I had pondered in my soliloquy , perhaps I was going crazy.

I decided to take a stroll down the street, hoping gracefully that someone would see me, but as I reached the end of the road I realized that it had been a futile attempt, because my hi's and hey's had not been replied.
Adesua's mother; Mrs Imafidon, hadn't even turned to look up when I said good morning, that should have been enough to discourage me, But my doggedness had kept me going and now I had reached a dead end.
Disappointed, I turned to go back home and then Mia, as I would later come to know was her name bumped into me and said;

"Hey you watch where you're going!"

Surprised I turned to her and said, "You saw me?"
which I soon enough realised was a very stupid question.

"Yeah .... Well I'm not blind you know," she said.

"But...,but..." I said and she was gone.

I called after her, but she turned down a corner and I followed but she was gone.

I ran home screaming ; she saw me! She saw me! With mixed feelings of disappointment and excitement.
I wanted to tell someone what had happened but then I couldn't, remember!!
I walked down the same path the following day hoping to see the strange girl, whom I had seen and wished I was a boy, but I didn't see her.

I went out everyday for a whole week hoping to see her, why I didn't I would later come to know.
