Chapter 2
The dawn of a Final Fight
When the smoked cleared Roxas’s eyes widen in shock, and tears started to drip down his face. He ran over to Xion who was laying on the ground, fainted,he can see her breathing, but she was bleeding badly. “Xion. Xion! Come on open your eyes!” Roxas shouted desperately, but her eyes remained shut. The monster appears by Roxas almost as if it had teleported next to him. The beast swung, Roxas turned letting it hit his back instead of it hitting Xion again. Roxas then tried to flee, but again it caught up so fast hitting Roxas who was still protecting Xion. Realizing there's no way to escape, he sets Xion down in a safe location.
“I’m sorry, but this may be our last battle. Don’t be sad if I am gone, you must live.”
A loud shout sounds from the beast rubble surrounds the once beautiful scenery. A breeze of wind blows through Roxas’s hair as he equips his Keyblade, and again the monster roars. Roxas quickly runs at the beast swinging down at its head hitting it, but the skull is not affected at all. The monster swings its mouth arm hitting Roxas in air sending him flying,. Roxas quickly recovers, but he is bleeding from his head and can barely see the monster.
“Can I really beat this?” Roxas thinks as he starts losing his sight. The heartless roars once more as Roxas’s body falls to the ground. “Is this really all I can do….” He thinks, Roxas’s eyes start to shut, he looks over at Xion his eyes blur. He sees the monster walking over to her. “NO. I can’t let it win.” His thoughts run wild with reasons why and why not to keep fighting.
Roxas gets up from his supposed eternal resting place, requiping his keyblade his head screaming in pain. The monster raises its giant sword leg, but when it swung it was stopped by Roxas. “I could turn back now.” These thoughts burned through Roxas’s mind, but he doesn’t listen to them. “I’M GONNA DIE.” Another thought runs wild, but as the wind blows furiously Roxas stands in front of the beast. The beast runs towards Roxas and Roxas runs towards the beast. Both collide as sparks fly, but the one sent back is the heartless. Roxas looks up with a smile feeling proud of actually pushing the beast back.
Xion’s eyes open to see Roxas fighting the beast, and she sees the beast. After looking at the creature for awhile she looks down at her wound not to bad, but its bleeding through the uniform. Although with the pain she gets up, and slowly walks towards Roxas she can barely see, but she doesn't give up. Reaching Roxas she manages to mutter “Roxas, please don’t die.” Roxas looks back to see Xion standing. The creature takes this opportunity to swing hitting Roxas, and sending him flying into the Clock Tower. “ROXAS!” Xion manages to scream as he falls to the ground.
The beast roars as it also hits Xion, sending her flying in the opposite direction. It then appears next to Roxas just as he was getting up, and hits him repeatedly. Eventually Roxas somehow manages to dodge some of its attacks, and Xion gets up slowly running to Roxas’s side. The beast roars into the sky as it manages to change its mouth hands into sharp spikes. “Are we gonna die?” Xion asks Roxas, but Roxas doesn’t respond as he requips his keyblade once again. Xion shakes her head “Nows not the time to ask questions.” Xion than equips her keyblade. “Xion you are too hurt to fight.” Roxas says. “You’re hurt two.” Xion responds quickly, but she still can barely see. In agreement she tosses her Keyblade to Roxas.
“Now we will still fight it together.” Xion smiles at Roxas, and Roxas smiles back.
Roxas hits the two keyblades together almost like he did it before, and the keyblades change into an Oblivion keyblade and a oathkeeper keyblade. “How?” Xion asks. “I don’t know I just did it.” Roxas casually responds as he takes off towards the beast. Jumping high into the air placing the keyblades together in a striking down. The beast dodges, but it arm gets hit cutting it in two.
The beast roars in the sky as it starts to run at Xion. Roxas appears in front of it swinging the Oblivion keyblade hits the other arm cutting it in two. The monster swings its leg upward, but Roxas blocks and is sent upward a couple of feet. Recovering he dashes downward, and hits the Beast’s head. A crack appears on its head, and Roxas quickly swings the Oathkeeper downward hitting it again. Unfortunately the same time Roxas defeats the Heartless it swung the leg cutting deep into Roxas’s body.
