Katie brushed the sleep from her eyes as she attempted to wake up. Her hair was in tangles and her makeup a wreck from the previous night. She checked the time on the alarm clock that was sitting on her bedside table, and saw that it was a little after eleven. She slowly got up and attempted to get moving, but it was like her body was fighting everything today.
She sighed and slipped on her robe before walking to the bathroom. She probably shouldn't have drank so much last night, but it was her birthday and that was normally the only time she drank. She turned on the water, just the sound of it made her head ache. "Stop being so loud." She mumbled, splashing some water on her face as to wash off the remains of last nights makeup. She was a mess, her blonde hair sticking to parts of her face where the water hit. Mascara smudged under both of her eyes and her neck laced with some sort of red marks..oh no....she didn't.
"TABBY!" She screamed out, hurting her head in the process. Instantly moving her hand to rest on her head as a skinny black haired girl ran into the room. "What!? Wheres the fire!?" She breathed, bending over to catch her breath. "I should have taken that cardio more seriously."
Katie rolled her eyes. "This is no time for Pitch Perfect references." And with the Tabitha straightened up and gave her a serious look. "Oh Lord....are you pregnant?" Katie crossed her arms and then uncrossed them to point to the marks that laced her neck. "Who did this?" Tabby shrugged as if she didn't know. "It might have been that guy you spent most of the night with.. I mean you two seemed to hit it off." I sighed, sitting down on the bathroom counter.
"I didn't nearly as drunk as you did last night. I mean I don't think you two did anything but make out, so you should be okay." She assured Katie, touching her shoulder lightly. Katie just nodded and Tabby walked back out. "I'll make mac and cheese. It's your favorite hangover food." And it had been her favorite food in general. Sometimes it still shocked her how well Tabitha knew Katie.
