~Adam's POV~
I stand outside of the tall building, my old suit having a perfect fit. My shiny 'budder' wedding band on my left ring finger once made me extremely happy... but know it brought tears to my bright green eyes. I walked beside his family up the front steps of the building. Once inside, I turn a corner to see a casket with my beloved Ty laying inside. Tears fell onto my cheeks as I collapsed in front of him, his chest not rising and falling like I was before; no breath would enter his lungs again. His family mourned with me as he lay cold. All I could think about was the day he was taken from us.
*Flashback*
Ty and I walk home from our fabulous one year anniversary dinner, hand and hand. They came from the alley way to our left, first hitting me over the head and knocking me down to the ground. I didn't want to move, and my vision was darkening. I hear his blood curdling scream, a gunshot, and watch as his limp body falls beside me; I hoped it was just a dream....
*End Of Flashback*
I slowly stand and stare at his cold, unmoving face before moving my eyes to his wedding band that matched my own. I sigh as they close the casket in front of me taking his face from my view for forever.
