"Travis! My little cousin is getting here in five minutes go put some clothes on! I don't want him taking after your random "free spirited" moments!" I yelled as I saw Travis strolling around the house practically naked.
"Oh come on Angeline. I'm wearing boxer briefs and its not like he doesn't know what to expect." He said making his way over to me and wrapping his tattooed arms around me.
"Plus don't act like you don't like it" he whispered biting my neck. I was just about to push him away when the door bell rang.
"Shit" I mumbled.
"Go! Go on put some clothes on before my aunt sees you and has an aneurysm!" I hissed while pushing him into the bedroom.
"Aunt Jennifer!" I greeted out of breath as I opened the front door.
"Hello sweetheart. How have you been?" She asked in a motherly tone. "I've been grand " I told her truthfully. She then looked at me with sad eyes and I knew where this conversation was going.
"How's Travis?" She asked in the same sweet tone.
"He's great. Treatment is going great actually and everything's in order." I said smiling knowing it was true, the doctors have been very happy about how Travis is reacting to the new treatment.
"Is he still... Sick?" She asked cautiously
"Yes" I said
"Well Adrian here wanted to do his homework with you while he was here. He refused the help of anyone that wasn't you" She told me handing me my cousin's book bag.
"Oh no problem! Hey Adrian want to go inside and wait in the living room for a bit?" I asked him. He agreed and after he said goodbye to his mother he was off. After talking to my aunt for a bit she had to go. We said our goodbyes and she left.
As I made my way to the living room I heard laughter and gun shots.
"Oh no" I whispered as I ran to the living room.
"Adrian! I thought we agreed on no video games until after we finished and Travis I thought I told you to put on clothes" I scowled at the two shirtless boys in front of me. They sat on the floor and were playing COD.
"But Belle! He has tattoos!" Adrian exclaimed as he admired Travis's angel wings. Travis just chuckled, turned around and flexed his arm so Adrian could see the full tattoo.
"Cool isn't it little guy?" Travis asked while turning back around.
"Come on Adrian let's just finish your work so you can keep playing" I said as I took out his homework.
An hour and a half later, three broken pencils, whining, 5 snack breaks, and some more whining, all Travis if I may add, we finally finished the homework but we were all too tired to do anything but lay on the floor because the couch was too far away.
"I think my brain imploded" Travis said in all seriousness. I just turned on my side and stared at him trying not to laugh.
"You only helped a twelve year old with his homework you didn't create a new computer hardware for the NASA" I said with a giggle.
He looked at me and climbed on top of me.
"Smartass" he mumbled and then kissed me. After a second I pulled away and stood up to start dinner.
"Anyone hungry ? " I asked no one in particular. I heard the both boys say yes but I was too lazy to actually make food so I decided to order pizza.
After it was ordered I walked back to the living room but what I saw made me stop and eavesdrop on the two boys in the living room floor.
Travis was sitting Indian style and so was Adrian. I could see how much Adrian looks up to Travis. He was watching his every move and trying to mimic them, trying to be just like Travis.
"Why do you call Angel, Belle?" Travis asked Adrian.
"Because she's like princess Belle. She likes reading and she's pretty and nice." Adrian answered with a grin which had me grinning too.
"Why do you call her Angel?" Adrian asked and Travis smiled
"Because she's my Angel" Travis simply stated.
I decided to walk in.
"I ordered pizza! Its on its way now" I said as I sat in between Travis's legs.
"Hey, Princess" He whispered in my ear.
"Hey, Prince" I whispered back.
