I thought you were the one

but I was so young

I tried everything I knew

Just to get to you

You had me in your hands

I would have done anything

For you to be my man

I believed in you and your lies

Damn it’s like you had

me hypnotized

You made me feel so damn weak

I don’t understand how you

could do this to me

I know what you felt for

me wasn’t real

But did you ever think

about how I would feel?

When it was all done

You just walked away

I never knew I could hurt

like I did that day

You never said those words

That I wanted to hear

I would’ve taken anything

Even if they weren’t sincere
