Come on, Kels. It's just a song. Five lines and you're finished. You got this. Ow Ow Ow... I groaned as I banged my head against my piano. I've been struggling to finish a song for the past week. This much writers block is why I'm practically fired. I banged the keys in a loud horrid sounding clang as my phone rang. "Kels." I spoke, introducing myself, trying to hide my rage. "Hey, girl, its Ellie!" Ugh just that name is enough to drive someone crazy. Let alone her obnoxious high pitched voice. "Hi, Ellie." I said, rolling my eyes as I pushed and pulled my tea bag in and out of my mug. The steam slowing steamed up my glasses. "So, like, I know it's been, like, forever, but," I winced. How many times must I tell her- saying 'like' every other word is annoying. "Me and, like, some people from school are, like, getting together Saturday night to, like, go bowling, and I think it'd be good, like, if you came." Seriously, how do people even enjoy being around her? Every other word makes me want to stab my eyes out with a fork. Wait... Why do I even keep her around? "Listen, Ellie," I was interrupted by her unraveling plea to drag me into it. "Kels, you have been working, like, waaayyy to hard lately. You need to, like, get out and have some fun. Or, at least, as much fun as you can have... Maybe it'll give you inspiration or something like that...?" Kelsey sighed. Maybe she was right. Maybe she would find inspiration. Besides, how bad could taking one night off really be? "I'm in."
