"Eomma? Eomma. Ireonaseyo. Eomma!! Ireonaseyo, Eomma!!! Nareul tteonaji mara. Oh? Oh?Eomma! Nae mal deullyeoyo? Nareul Tteonaji mara, eomma! Eomma.." Yoonji screamed and cried her tiny heart out, trying to wake her mother up. After a minute or two the nurse had to pull Yoonji away from the corpse. Leaving the room, Yoonji took a seat near Somin who was being questioned from a police man while Yoonji was still sobbing. She tried to hold it in. She was tired from screaming, crying and hurting. Yoonji only looked at the ground trying to conceal her pain.

"Yoonji-ah, Kim Yoonji?" she heard her name being called.
"Hm?" she said not looking at Somin eonni.
"Someone would like to talk to you. Is that okay?" Somin asked her but she just shrugged.

A person took a seat next to her.
"Hey, can I offer you a snack or a drink?" a male voice asked but Yoonji declined.
"My name is Jung Ho Seok, investigator, and that man there is my partner, Kim Seok Jin. We were given this case and wanted to ask you a couple of questions. Is that okay for you?" Jung Hoseok questioned carefully and Yoonji nodded.
"Perfect. The first question I have would be, if you have any other relatives or your father who could take care of you?" the investigator asked.
"No, josajanim. Nae bumeonim is somewhere out there but I do not know him." Yoonji said and Hoseok nodded writing everything down.
"But do you know his name?" Kim Seokjin asked.
"Yes, it was something like, Park Yoon Dong, sir." Yoonji said and both of the investigators looked at each other in a speed of light. Yoonji looked up out of curiousity but quickly looked back on the ground once they turned to her again. Did they know about her father?

"Ah, wae?" Somin eonni caught the investigators look.
"A-Ani, we think we have everything we need for now. Gomabda, Kim Yoonji. We might hear from eachother again. In the mean time your teacher agreed to take care of you. I hope you're okay if you stay with your teacher. Somin-ssi, can we talk for a second?" investogator Kim Seokjin asked and Somin nodded. They walked away from Yoonji and Hoseok.

"Josajanim?" Yoonji asked.
"Yes?" Hoseok said.
"May you have a clue who my father is?" she asked him.

Hoseok was taken a back. From that day on he knew Yoonji was a smarter kid than he expected.

"We do. But we still have to look through everything." Hoseok told her and she nodded.
"What are you thinking about, young girl?" Hoseok asked.
"Could it be.. ani.. I mean.. *sigh*" Yoonji swung her legs back and forth since it didn't quite reach the floor. "Is there a chance that.. my Appa killed my Eomma", and for the first time did investigator, Jung Ho Seok, saw the girl's face. Again taken a back from her statement he couldn't quite come up with an answer.

-14 days later-
Yoonji has been attending preschool as regularly. She felt more save as she got closer with her teacher who's actually an intern and now eonni to her, Jeon Somin. But little did she know that her life would change 360°. Her best and only friend appeared less and less. She missed her Jiminie. She was worried about him because everytime he showed up in preschool she would question her friend why he didn't attend school last time but Jimin never gave her an answer to that question. He was hiding something from her. Even though Yoonji was a smart girl, Jimin was a better actor and played with her as they usually would. He would act as if nothing is wrong in front of her but he eventually disappeared without a single word.
Yoonji couldn't and didn't want to understand why he left like that. After asking Somin eonni at home, she only knew that his father signed him out of preschool to leave Seoul and go to Busan. She couldn't hug him one last time. There was...

..no goodbye.
