Car Rides

          "Are we there yet?" Kawaii~Chan whined from the back seat. Aaron groaned.
          "Almost, Kawaii~Chan, be patient," Aphmau said from the front seat. "Is anyone hungry?" She held up some sandwiches.
          "Yes, thanks, I am STARVING," said Katelyn, as she reached for a sandwich. "What kind of sandwiches are they?"
"Aph made like 4 kinds of sandwiches, and then 4 of each kind, in case we all wanted the same one," Aaron laughed.
"Have you seen Katelyn when she's hungry, Aaron? It's scary," Aphmau whispered.
"I heard that!" Katelyn said from the back seat, putting on her headphones and opening her sandwich.
"Kawaii~Chan? You haven't asked if we're there yet in like 5 minutes. Are you okay back there?" Aphmau asked.
"HUH?! Oh, yes. Kawaii~Chan is fine, she was just lost in thought!" Kawaii~Chan said as she sat up.
"Oh. Wow. About what?" Katelyn asked, and took off her headphones.
"Uh, no one. I mean nothing!! Nothing, no one... well... Kawaii~Chan will tell you when we get to the hotel...?" Kawaii~Chan stuttered.
"Uh, okay, then," Katelyn said, and she put her headphones back on. Kawaii~Chan sighed and lay her head on the side of the car.
