jealousy pt. 3

 You wake up to her on your chest still. She sounds like she's sleeping. You don't want to wake her so you close your eyes and, within about 20 minutes, fall asleep again.

You wake up around 10:30 to the smell of bacon and her quietly singing a song in the kitchen to your right. You look  over there and say in a raspy tone, "Good morning." She jumps slightly, startled.

She looks up, smiles and says, "Good morning sunshine,"  She says in her cutest voice. "Come sit down, Ive made bacon." She has a toothy grin on her face. 

You comply and sit down in a tall, white chair at the island counter. She sets a plate of bacon on the marble white platform and sits to the left of you. She takes a thin piece of bacon and starts munching on it. You do the same. 

You get a text. 

'Want to hangout today? Its Asher :)'

You can feel Cara's face right next to your's as you read it. 

'Yeah, sure. When?'

You hear Cara scoff lightly as she pushes herself away from you.

You look up and she's washing her cup that she used for orange juice.

You and Asher text back and forth until you realize she's watching one of your favorite movies: The Sandlot. You tell Asher you'll meet him at the mall about 1 in the afternoon to go shopping and what not. 

You plop down next to Cara. You look at her but she doesn't look at you. To get her attention you say, "Wanna go to the mall with me and Asher?"

"I don't know. What time?"She says in a sigh, still not looking at you.

"Around 1. Were gonna go to the mall and maybe get some coffee." You say with a small grin on your face.

"No," She doesn't have any expression on her face. You feel a pang of hurt and your stomach begins to churn. "Wouldn't want to be a third wheel." She gets up and goes for the restroom.

You hear the shower turn on and since she's being so rude and blunt you feel she doesn't want you there. You gather your things and leave the building in about 10 minutes.

Its around 11:45 a.m. when you're in your apartment and get a text from Cara.

'So you just left without telling me? Where are you?'

'It seemed like you didn't want me there. Im back at mine.'

'Ok then.' You're annoyed with that answer. You've always hated when people leave you with something you can't reply to. You just leave the conversation like that.

You're finally at the mall with Asher. You tell him everything about Cara and how she was being weird a few hours ago. He just listens while you talk because you know he doesn't know what to say. 

After your meet up with Asher you go back to your apartment. You're watching tv, its about 12 a.m. and you can't sleep. You decide to text Cara even if she most likely is asleep, you try your luck.

'Hey, are you awake?'

Within about 2 minutes she replies. 'Yeah.'

'Can you talk on the phone?'  You reply right away

'No. Not now. Out with friends. Talk later.' She says in seconds

Okay. Now that was rude. You reply with an 'Ok wow bye.' and spend the rest of the night with anger boiling inside of you. You scream into a pillow and fall asleep after about an hour of talking with Asher on the phone. He tells you that he doesn't like her and you could find someone that doesn't treat you like that. 

Whatever, she seems like bad news anyway.

sorry this is such a short chapter. I've been caught up with countless reports for school so i haven't been able to make longer ones. I'm going to be making one shots. I will still continue the jealousy story though. thanks for reading!
