Nate's POV

I ran through Sector A as quickly as I could, everything blurred streaks around me as I ran. I was trying not to cry. Ethan, my older brother, was facing a situation of imminent death. He'd run off, which didn't seem to be like him in the first place. I didn't know why he'd done it, they'd told us if we ran they'd kill us. It was so backwards for Ethan to do such a thing. But then, what had been normal in the recent circumstances anyway? I mean, we'd only just met the Horrorland killers about five minutes before he ran off.

Mad had killed the rest of my family, and I knew he'd kill Ethan without hesitation. He didn't feel remorse at all. In fact, he'd told me he'd enjoyed killing my family. And he'd been smiling when he said it. If that's not a clear enough indication of what this man will do, I don't know what will get it through your minds. This man is dangerous. He will hurt you. Stay away from him if  you can, because if you don't, who can say for sure what he will do to you and your family? I mean, he would probably kill you without hesitation, but trust me that's better than being forced to live with the Killers' in order to keep your comrades sane.

His sister Bloodstain seemed to be just as dangerous. She spared no one, had no weakness. I couldn't quite tell anything about Project, but she seemed to know everything herself. Psycho was the cannibal. And trust me, she was literally a psychopath. And Two, the cat girl, just seemed very friendly from the moment I met her.  Who are these people? Haven't you ever heard of the so called legends and myths of the Horrorland killers? Well it turns out that those myths are very true. The Horrorland Killers are very real, and probably every bit as lethal as people say. Although I can't say for certain just yet.

I kept going, blindly stumbling here and there. I was trying to stop these tears from straming down my cheeks. How long could it have been? A few minutes, or maybe a few days? I had no idea, my sense of time had been lost due to the state of panic I was currently in. I had to find him before Mad or one of the other Horrorland Killers did, I just fucking had to. I didn't want to lose him like I'd lost the rest of my family and friends. I felt this loyalty to him, and I couldn't change that. So I knew that what I was doing wasn't wrong.

I looked up and noted that the sun was beginning to set. Quickly, I looked for the tallest, most secluded tree in the area. Once I found it, I climbed up it and tried to sleep. I knew I should look for Ethan, but I figured that Mad had probably found him by now. That thought terrified me. I forced back any emotion I could feel and closed my eyes, wanting sleep to overtake me. I didn't want to have nightmares tonight.

---

When I woke up the next day, I knew it had been too long since I'd ran off to find Ethan. I had no clue how long I'd been asleep. But,  it had to have been at least a day nownce I'd left si, judging by how much I wanted water. I could always just go back.. Mad's probably found him by now I didn't want to give up on my brother, but there was nothing else I could do. It would take me about a day to get back to wherever the Killers' and the others that had come to Sector A with me were. I knew that Mad or one of the other Killers' had found him by now.

I wondered what the others would think when I hadn't found Ethan, I thought as I began walking the way I'd come. They probably wouldn't be angry, they'd just feel bad for me. I mean what else could they do? They had known my brother, but hadn't been as close to him as I was.We were kind of friends, the group of us, but we were just trying to help each other get through the day. We'd all become group of people just trying to survive in Sector B a few years ago, and then, a man told us the way out. Really, he'd just ended up getting us trapped like we were livestock or pets or something. I remember Rose saying that to me before I ran to find Ethan.
