Ch.1

"New girl "

Adriana's POV

I cleared my throat as I walked into my classroom . The teacher looking away from her lesson and soon all eyes were on me .

"I'm Adriana Daniels " I say to my teacher

"Ah yes new girl ! I'm Mrs.Sante welcome to English ! " She smiled I smiled back and she turned to the class

"Class this is Adriana Daniels she's new here so make her feel welcomed " I looked at all the other people some of the girls glared at me while some just smiled politely and the boys just drooled and had smirks on their faces.

"Umm hi " I say giving a lazy smile .

My eyes dart around the room avoiding the glares of those tan girls. I look at my teacher and she smiles at me

"Adriana why don't you go ahead and sit with Niall " Mrs.Sante says "Niall raise your hand please "

I look around and see a boy with dirty blonde hair that was obviously dyed . His ocean blue eyes were warm and full of life yet he looked like he could kill somebody.

I shuffled over to the desk that was in the far back corner and sat down. I took a deep breath and threw my long hair over my shoulder .

Niall took in a deep breath and gripped the desk . His head bowed down , I curiously looked over at him .

"I'm Adriana " I smile turning back to him holding out a hand

"I'm Niall Horan " He smiles shaking it but his hands were ice cold .

I grin hoping that he could be the first friend I make here. He looks at me and smiles but then frowns looking at something behind me .

I turn around and see this girl who is absolutely gorgeous pecking the lips of a boy in a soccer jersey .

"Is she your crush?" I ask him making him jump a bit

"What ? "He looks at me confused his head tilting to the side a bit

"That girl do you like her?" I ask again

He nods his eyes not shining or warm just cold and empty "yeah I do....a lot actually "

I lean over and hug him his arms slowly snaked around my waist accepting the friendly gesture

"Soon she'll realize what she's missing "I whisper to him he chuckles as we pull apart and then we both turn out attention to the teacher

I walked into the cafeteria twirling the ends of my kind brown hair . My lunch in my backpack .

I scan the lunch room trying to find a seat when a few hands wave me over I look and see Emma and Elise . I walked over to them and sat down smiling

"Hi girls " I smiled

"Hey " they grin

"So did you hear about the rumor of Niall dating this mysterious new girl ! "Emma squealed

"Emma you can be such an air head sometimes the only new girl here is Adriana " Elise said rolling her eyes at Emma

"Oh yeah " she giggles then looking over at me "are you guys a thing"

"No ! I jut met him today and he's my friend . " I say

They nod not doubting me and I take out my lunch ,a little thing of yogurt with granola .
