Chapter 15: Back to the Underworld

The next thing I know, I was standing inside a  familiar mansion with the dark miasma around. I looked to my back to see a pair of grey wings, "I am finally back" I smiled walking around the place I had miss. I search for the boys and it took me some time to finally find them inside the basement with frozen bodies.

"Everyone!" I shouted in fear as I run to each of them not moving an inch. " Taehyung, what should I do?" I looked back to Taehyung's frozen body, the real Taehyung but he wasn't responding. I looked around the basement to look for a way to save them only to see a broken water pot on the floor.

"This must be the cause" I muttered. I pointed out my right hand towards the broken pieces and, "Configo!" 

As I cast the spell, the broken pieces were slowly fixed turning back to normal. I cast a barrier around it to prevent it from breaking again. I thought it was all done but the seven deadly sins were still frozen.

"What do I do now?" I muttered in panic as Taehyung's crystal pendant sparked giving me an answer. "Thank you King, for always helping me out" I said as I  grab his pendant he was holding. His position seems like he was about to use it but the ice prevented him from doing so.

I raised the pendant in the air and "Frango!" I break it to pieces and made it fly towards each sin striking their bodies. The ice melted and the boys were finally back to normal. "Taehyung!" I ran to him and embrace him to a hug. 

"Queen! You're finally back!" he said hugging me so tight. "I felt like I died for the second time" Jungkook muttered as he stretch out. I ran to Jungkook hugging him as well as the other boys. They looked all look confused except for Taehyung. "Why are you all looking so clueless. You have tons of things to explain to me" I seriously said pointing at the pot that was now inside a barrier. They gasp finally realizing what happened.

"Guys, you need to explain to her about the forbidden pot" Taehyung said looking at them. "Queen, It's a long story" Jin said. "I feel so stiff being unable to move for quite a long time" Yoongi muttered stretching his body too. "I'm ready to listen now tell me" I said.  "If only this one guy wasn't so clumsy, all of this wouldn't even happen in the first place" Hoseok said looking at Namjoon. Namjoon looked away as Jimin speak, "I don't feel good staying here in the basement, can we all just talk about this in the hall?" he suggested as we all agreed.

Everyone were gathered in the hall as Taehyung and I sat on our respective thrones. "So, you can start explaining now" I glared at them. I noticed how Namjoon and Hoseok gulp as Yoongi and Jimin nudged Namjoon to speak. "Fine, first of all I'm sorry everyone. That night Taehyung was crowned as King Lucifer, a mysterious water pot was seen in my domain. I brought it to the mansion and gathered everyone in the basement after Taehyung's crowning ceremony. The six of us talk about it and found out it was the forbidden pot containing the evil souls of the Underworld" Namjoon explained.

"We then decided to seal it in the basement" Jin added. "But the mission failed because of Namjoon" Hoseok said looking at Namjoon.  "I'm sorry okay?" Namjoon muttered. "And because of Hoseok's envy wanting to seal the pot on his own, he grabbed it from Namjoon" Yoongi speak.

"And Namjoon grabbed it back and being clumsy himself, he accidentally dropped it on the ground" Jimin continued. "The evil spirits escaped and freeze us immediately before we could even cast a spell" Jungkook said. 

"Also,  I had a dream before about you forgetting me, the other sins and everything about the Underworld" Taehyung speak and continued explaining,

(Flashback to the night Taehyung was crowned)

Taehyung's POV,

I was in the hall ordering some demons to do some work when I felt something strange. I summoned my familiars to check every place in the mansion. One returned and told me that the forbidden pot was brought to the mansion. 

"What? Who brought it?" I asked in panic knowing the damage it will cost if it broke. My familiar told me it was Namjoon who brought it. "I'm so disappointed. Namjoon's one of the smartest demons why would he bring the forbidden pot in the mansion where everyone is" I muttered touching my temples.

Becoming the King of the Underworld made my power, physical strength, mana and senses ten times better so I was able to sense the dark aura of the evil spirits implying that it escaped and is now roaming around the mansion. I quickly went to my Queen's room for her aid.

I was standing in her balcony when I knock to call her. She opened the glass doors smiling at me, I had a plan in mind but it was risky. I don't want her to get worried so I decided to give her the crystal pendant that would help her if my plan fails. I knew she was getting worried with my actions so I made a vow to assure her. 

"If the day comes that I forget you, please don't lose hope in me and hold onto the pendant I gave you. It will help you in tough times. I love you Queen, I truly do" I said as tears fell from my eyes. 

I sensed the evil spirits getting near us so I ask her to fly with me outside, to escape from them. But as we fly to the illusion of sky I created,  the evil spirits chased after us specifically chasing after my weakness, Eve. 

My plan was risky but there was no time to think about it so I made up my mind. I'll send her to the human world without a clear destination in mind. I cast the spell and in an instant, my queen was gone from my grasp. The evil spirits vanished from my vision. I went back to the mansion's basement where the boys are. I saw the broken pieces of the forbidden pot on the ground and the sins' bodies were frozen. I tried to use my pendant to save the boys but I was too late as the spirits appeared and consumed my body freezing my body as well. 

I could only hold onto the pair of pendant I had. This was the only way to save us but I was too late.

(End of flashback)

"Wait, so If you only send me to the human world why did I eventually lost my memories?" I asked.

"The evil spirits are known to have the power of obliterating memories. When I returned to the mansion I send an illusion to find you and take you back. I gave you the pendant because it was the only thing that would recollect your memories. Our matching crystal pendants were my swords, once it struck your veins the evil spirits will wear off" he explained. 

"So you mean the evil spirits even followed me to the human world?" I clarified as Taehyung nodded. "Sadly yes, the spirits were after my weakness which is you. I still don't know who send the forbidden pot to Wrath's domain but one thing is for sure, the one behind this is trying to destroy us" he replied.

"Who would do that?" Jimin asked but Taehyung only shrugged, everyone had no idea. But somehow I was finally in relief, "I'm really glad to be back. I was in utter pain seeing you all forget me" 

"What do you mean?" Yoongi asked. "I-I uhm" I stuttered standing up from my throne as I walk to the door. "Queen, where are you going?" Jin asked as I looked down. I'm not sure if I should tell them.

"That reminds me, there was something I couldn't figure out. From the illusion I made, I saw another me who was calling out your name. Who was he?" Taehyung asked standing up from his throne.
