Chapter 3

Emily POV

We sat in silence for a while just looking at each other.

"I should really go to bed" I smiled looking down at my watch. 3:30 .

We'd been siting here for over an hour. I felt such a relief that he finally told me what he felt and when I told him. I stood up and and helped him up, we were now standing face to face, just a couple inches away from each other. Our lips were practically brushing against eachother.

"Caspar" I whispered, my eyes closed. "We need to talk about this" And as i said that i started walking up the stairs.

"Tomorrow" He smiled.

"Yeah, tomorrow" I smiled "Good night Caspar"

"Good night Em"

We both went into our respective rooms, i closed the door quietly trying not to wake Joe up, he hadn't slept at all on the plane flight. I got into bed and I couldn't contain my smile. Not only had Caspar and I kissed but i was finally 18, i'd been waiting for this moment all my life.

"I can see you smiling in the dark" Joes grogy voice suddenly filled the quiet room.

"I'm eighteen Joe, finally" I smiled standing up and getting into bed with him. He hugged me tightly.

"Happy Birthday little one"

We fell quiet and i thought he was asleep so i was about to close my eyes, he spoke.

"Caspar's fine right?"he asked

"Yeah" I smiled looking at him "He's perfectly fine, just a little drunk"

And then we fell asleep.

Caspar's POV

Why did I feel so bad? I didn't want Joe not to be happy with Em and me and I don't want to lie to him about anything. Hopefully Emily and I can talk tomorrow and we can sort everything out. I feel like a dick though, she's a child. F*ck. Well... it doesn't matter. Tomorrow will be an amazing day for her and I don't want to spoil it, hopefully we can talk early in the morning.

At 9AM I was awake, I hadn't slept all night. I slowly and quietly opened the door trying not to wake Josh up and headed to the closed door infront of me, I opened the door with the intention of waking Emily up so we could talk all this out before everyone was awake but when I opened the door I found Emily in Joes arms, both of them fast asleep. I decided against waking her up and instead headed downstairs, I could of tried and making some special birthday pancakes or something like that but I would of probably burned the house down. I sat on the sofa with my computer editing a few vlogs I wanted to upload this week. After about an hour and a half Josh walked down the stairs, he looked happy.

"Good morning buddy" He smiled at me

"Hi" I said, a small smile on my lips.

"You didn't sleep at all what's wrong?"

I couldn't tell him, I promised Emily I wouldn't tell anyone, not until we had talked it all out and made sure Joe was okay with everything.

"Nothing just thinking about life" I laughed.

"Emilys friends are going to get to the airport soon, we said we'd pick them up, you might want to start getting changed" Josh whispered, it was then I had realized he was fully dressed with some jeans and a white shirt.

"Oh shit, today is the party" I cursed realizing I had completely forgotten.

I quickly got dressed and Josh and I headed to the airport, we waited for Emilys three friends for five minutes, once we were all in the car we drove to the beach where we were celebrating her birthday nearly everything was set up. This was all a surprise, Emily didn't know anything at all. Three of her closest friends were coming, as were Zoe and Alfie and most of our youtube friends. She was going to be so happy.
