Maya's POV
Yesterday my dad told us that we were moving, again. By us I mean me, my older brother Mason and my younger sister Molly. We move around a lot, and when I say a lot I mean it. For example we moved in this house only 6 months ago. At the moment we are living in Washington but in a week we are moving to London in England. Yay.
I was woken up by a cardboard box hitting me in the head. "Oww" I shouted, lifting my head I saw my older brother Mason standing at my door with a smirk on his face. "What was that for?" I asked rubbing my head. "Dad asked us to start organising things into boxes" and with that he left. Mason was 17 he was only a year older than me.
I unwillingly got up and started looking in my walk in wardrobe. I swear every time we move house our houses get bigger. I'm not one to brag tho, I don't like to.
"Maya! Maya!" My little sister Molly came running into my room and jumped on my bed she's only 8. "What lil one?" I replied sitting on my bed with her. "Will you help me pack? Mason said no" she said with a pout. "Sure, only if you help me" I said, she agreed and started running to my things. Oh boy, bad idea.
Me my dad and my siblings we all really close because we had hardly any friends because of us moving a lot. We were never always a rich family, before my mother left we were an average family but my dad didn't want to be stuck in Canada anymore so we moved, he got a really good job and life just keeps getting better. My mother left 7 years ago when I was just 9. Dad never really said why she left but me and Mason were never really close with her anyways and dad always had to go see to Molly when she was a baby.
After 2 hours of packing mine and Molly's things we went downstairs to see dad. "There's my favourite girls" dad said coming to hug us both. "I've made pancakes, they're in the living room with Mason". Me and Molly raced into the living room and grabbed as many pancakes as we could hold in our hands. "Hey don't get that on the floor now! I've just cleaned" teased Harriet our maid. She was so nice, she sometimes brought her little girl to come play with Molly.
"You two want to go watch a movie?" Mason asked. "YEAHH" Molly screamed and ran upstairs. I nodded and grabbed another pancake jeez these are nice!
We decided to go and watch Moana with Molly, she loved the film and I think Mason did to. I enjoyed the popcorn the most. Mmm.
