Chapter 8: Max (CJ)

I woke up in a tunnel. No light, none what so ever. I couldn't see my hands in front of me. So I decided to get up. I looked around, again nothing. Not a soul, not a speck of light shown. So I decided to walk. Careful where I walk and where I'm going. Then a blood curdling scream came, so I ran. I didn't know why but I ran. I ran till I couldn't.
I recognize that voice...but where? Where have I heard that voice?

I tried to remember that voice, but I couldn't.

I know it started with an 'L' but what is the rest?
Luke? No the scream was a girl...ugh what is it?!

"Max! Help me please!" the girl screamed.

Luna...? L-Luna!! Where are you?! Luna's hurt...why?...who?.

Then I wake up. Confused, dazed. My breathing small and fast (NO NOT LIKE THAT DIRTY ASSHATS-KARKATT). I put a hand to my heart to steady my shocked nerves. I looked where I was.

A hospital? Huh??

I was sitting in a chair contemplating why I was here. Then it came, like a car crash,smashing my nerves. My heart raced once more. I got up from my seat and ran to the check in desk.

"Luna Bloodshed! Where?! Where is she?!" I screamed, panicked.

"Sir calm down. I'll tell you just breath." She calmly told me. The name tag on the women read 'Jane' and I looked at her. Doing as she said.

"Okay"

"Good now close your eyes and count to 10."

I looked at her but did anyways. Breathing and counting slow.

"...9"

"...10."

Then I looked at 'Jane' again and asked one more time, but she beat me to it.

"Here's the room, but be quiet this time, okay?" She asked while giving me a slip of paper.

"Yea, sure. Thanks."

I read the paper over and over again

God I hope she's fine.

Then an ear splitting, blood chilling screamed echoed through the halls. The screams sounded familiar. Like from a dream.

Shit Luna!!

I ran towards the screams. Following where the heart crushing sounds came from. Once I was at the door I was stopped . I looked back to see a doctor and two nurses rushing in.

"Don't come in dear!!" One of the nurses yelled at me. Closing the door behind her.

As much as I want to listen to her I can't. My Luna needs me.

So I threw open the door almost taking it off it's hinges. Looking at the scene in front of me. Luna struggling to get the doctor and nurses off of her. It angers and saddened me to see her like this. I noticed she calmed down a little,but still fighting off the people. Her eyes screamed fear and uselessness. So I did what I've always wanted to do.

"Get off my girl!! Your hurting her!" I yelled.

This startled the doctor and nurses making them back up. Luna was still looking at me, then looked down so I couldn't see her face.

"Now get out. I can handle my girlfriend."

They shook their heads and calmly, but hurriedly ran out of the room.

Once the door was closed I rushed to a crying Luna. Picking her up so she was on my lap while I hold her whispering sweet nothings in her hair. After a full 30 minuets she calmed down. She looked at me then immediately looked back down. I smelt fear and embarrassment. I mentaly highfived myself for making Luna embarrassed. Only the Gods know how hard it is to make a wonderful women embarrassed.

"C-can I get off your umm...l-lap please." She said still looking down.

"No can do princess. Your staying here whether you like it or not." I calmly said.

Yes goal achieved. 20 exp's for making this beautiful women embarrassed, studder, and blush...at least I think she is.

I snaped out of my thoughts at a petite form cuddling into my own. I looked down and saw a sleeping Luna. Her small and beautiful body close to mine. Smiling I layed down so we could get some sleep. The last thought that came to mind was...

I hope Lloyd is okay...also I love you Luna.
