Friends, Romans, countrymen, assorted denizens of Wattpad, lend me your ears. Or eyes, really, unless you've somehow managed to find software that will read these books out loud to you. If so, that sounds like highly useful acquisition and I commend you on this talent...
But I digress.
I'm actually doing a thing, everyone. Most of you probably know me from my misadventures in the Author Games sphere; I don't actually do much in the way of independent novel writing. It's been a while since I've really attempted to create a story of my own, and it'll be no small commitment of my time and energy to get this into any sort of reasonable shape. However, I really do want this to function and not dishonor my family, so... here we are.
I decided to actually try this for real because of the delightful RappyTheDinosaur. She's running a competition, although it really isn't one, to help motivate writers with deadlines, word counts, and a friendly community for other aspiring novelists on Wattpad. At the moment, there are eleven other writers in "The Rappy Games" (plus Rappy in all her glory,) so if you could check their works out, that'd be cool of you. The list of works can be found on her profile, and in my reading list "Novelists Anonymous."
