In my apartment, I was just settling in and out of the blue, Kiba, Hinata, and Shino came in and said "Welcome Niko-kun!" I was so surprised and happy to know that they thought of me!
I asked "When is our first mission?!"
"Tomorrow, we are escorting an artist to the Land of Waves."
"What do I need to bring?" I asked politely to Kiba.
"You should bring your regular gear and leave the rest to us!" said the almost boisterous Kiba.
The next morning, we headed out to the Land of Waves with the famous artist Katagawa.
The journey started fine, but all of a sudden, Mist Ninja ambushed us! They trapped Katagawa in a water vortex. Kiba and Akamaru were the first to react and lunged at one of the Mist Ninja. I stood in a defensive stance and built up my chakra to summon my spirit animal companion. Once I was ready, I waited for an opening and summoned the fox. It lunged and bit the ninja until they surrendered and went back into hiding.
While me and Kiba were busy with the ninja, Shino and Hinata combined their 64 palms move and Shino's bugs to get Katagawa out of the water vortex before he drowned.
In the end, Katagawa was OK and no one was majorly hurt. This was when the amulet started glowing again! Sad to leave Naruto but happy to be somewhere new, I closed my eyes and waited to feel new ground.
