OLYMPUS: 1998

"You know, brother, you wouldn't have twins on the way if you would just keep it in your pants."

Apollo turns from his window, eyes bright. "If you want to talk to me about the amount of children I have, Heracles, you should turn your attention to our brother Dionysus."

Heracles laughs. "Please, father and I gave up on Di two hundred years ago. At least you can be talked to."

Apollo rolls his eyes, folding his hands behind his back. "What is so important about these two children of mine that has father asking you to speak to me?"

Heracles looks at the other god pointedly. "Don't question the king," he says softly. It's a warning, Apollo knows that much.

He sighs. "Fine, Heracles. You have my word; no more children."

Heracles smiles at his brother. "Music to my ears," he murmurs and leaves his brother alone.

Apollo turns back to the window, leaning his hands on the sill. He didn't understand what all the fuss was about when it came to these twins of his. When it came to his children, most of them contributed to life in Olympus. The others chose to remain on Earth and protect the mortals as police officers, fire fighters, and even doctors. Little did the god know, he was in more trouble than he bargained for.
