That morning, I had my violin classes, it was a great thung to start the day with music. I walk into the humongous classroom with a grand piano, a set of drawyers and a stand placed in the middle. I put my violin case on top of thr drawyers and took out my brown violin with a shiny touch and the bow, so strong and arching.

As I tuned, I was startled by the loud sound of the opening door that echoed throughout the room. Mr. Gregg entered with a mischevious grin on his face. He wasn't a strict teacher at all. He was one to make jokes and tell stories, he was interesting. He held an envelope in front of me and at the sight of the logo printed at the front, I knew I had made it. The bright green and yellow colours of the lion mascot got me screaming and jumping around. Mr. Gregg started laughing at my childish behaviour although he knew very well hoe mucb I've wanted to get selected. I opened the envelope,

" Dear Ms. Madison, Lakewood High would like to give you the opportunity in performing with the band at this years musical production, Mamma Mia. If you wish to join us please attend our practice on Wednesday at 3pm at our school (an escort will be available). You will recieve an amount of $500 per show and $150 per practice. All the information will be provided at your first rehearsal. We hope you accept this opportunity.

I was jumping up and down with excitement, I was chosen as one of the band members, and Wednesday was two days away. I couldn't wait. "Jenny is going with you, she's playing the flute" Mr. Gregg announced and that bought my mood down. Jenny was a sassy girl and filled with arrogance and would be able to get any guy at anytime. And there's me, I haven't even had my first kiss yet. She was seen as hot and attractive but to me she wasn't, she just had the normal average girl looks. She thought so highly of herself but she was good at flute and she thought she was the best. A lot of guys want her because of her fake personality.

We were together in most of highschool classes and she slept with almost every guy in the grade... including Tyler. I didn't think he was one to fall for her but he did and that drove us apart slowly and painfully atleast that's how I felt. We still talk sometimes but it's nothing compared to the late hours we stayed up skyping each other almost everyday. After a month or so of dating Jenny, Tyler finslly got the hint that we were drifting apart, and ofcourse he talked to Jenny about it. The moment Jenny realised that I had feelings for Tyler, she has managed to make my life miserable as much as she could. Unfortunately Tyler didn't understand this and he thought that I was just plain jealous of thrm dating. Yes I was but because of that he didn't kniw the misery I went through with Jenny.

I hope there's nothing for her to ruin for me at the production.
