Jaelene's pov

Octavia was laying in her bed while I was drawing on the cell floor. Their were pictures all over the cell. A few of them were old. I had my 17th birthday a year ago and Octavia celebrated it with me and one of the guards. He was the only guard I trusted because he had a son in prison as well. He taught me to fight when I was young. He taught me to read and write among other things. We jumped when our cell door opened.

"Prisoner 074 and 130 face the  wall and hold out your right arm." A guardsmen said and only Octavia obeyed.

"What the bloody hell is going on? She's not old enough to be floated nor am I." I snarled and she tugged on my jacket sleeve. I gave in and the guard put metal bands on our wrists and we let out yelps. Guardsman Miller came in and sent us a smile before taking us out of our cell. We got to a drop ship and we were taken to the third floor. Octavia got sat down gently how ever I didn't. I launched myself sending a fist to the guardsman jaw and he stumbled back and some of the prisoners cheered. I however got lashed. Octavia cried out my name as I got lashed.

"Big mistake!" I sneered and twisted and round housed kicked him and he went flying to ground. Guardsman Miller ran to me and pulled me back. Another guard came and to the unconscious guard to medical. I was placed in my seat and Miller slipped 3 daggers in my boot.

"Keep Nate safe for me." He said and I gave him my word and he left after buckling me up.

"Are you crazy!" Octavia shrieked and I looked at her and we busted out laughing.

"How's your side?" She asked and I said it aches. We fell into a comfortable silence and soon we were launch out into space. Octavia grabbed my hand and I calmed her down. The Tv screen turned on and Octavia and I shared an annoyed look when My father was the one to appear on the screen.

"Prisoners of The Ark, hear me now. You've been given a second chance, and as your Chancellor, it is my hope that you see this as not just a chance for you, but a chance for all of us, indeed for mankind itself. We have no idea what is waiting for you down there. If the odds of survival were better, we would've sent others. Frankly, we're sending you because your crimes have made you expendable." My prick of a father said.

"Your dad is a dick, Wells." Me and someone yelled and Octavia giggled.

"If, however, you do survive, those crimes will be forgiven, your records wiped clean. The drop site has been chosen carefully. Before the last war, Mount Weather was a military base built within a mountain. It was to be stocked with enough non-perishables to sustain 300 people for up to two years. No one ever made it there. Because we spare you no food, or water, or medicine, I cannot stress strongly enough, that Mount Weather is life." My dad said and I rolled my eyes.

"Spacewalk bandit strikes again. Go, Finn! Check it out." People yelled.

"Your dad floated me, after all." The Finn guy said to my brother.

"You should strap in before the parachutes deploy." My brother called out and I snapped my head up and Octavia squeezed my hand.

"Hey, you two, stay put if you want to live." Clarke yelled and I groaned.

"Chancellor Jaha: You must locate those supplies immediately. Your one responsibility is stay alive.

"Stay in your seats. Finn, are you okay?" Clarke yelled and Octavia scoffed.

"Whoa!" Someone said and I rolled my eyes. We got unbuckled and we stretched. Someone said something about the bottom level.

"No. We can’t just open the doors." Clarke yelled and I groaned as she ran to the hatch.
