The time was currently 1:00 A.M.

Tsuna, Nagi, and Enma Gathered at the west gate of the castle.

They had timed it perfectly, the guards would not return for another 5 minutes because of the changing of shifts. A security flaw in the eyes of the Hibari Family.

"Enma, We'll miss you so much.... I wish it didn't have to be this way...." Tsuna said as the 3 hugged goodbye. "I'm gonna miss you two as well..... But at least we can still talk! It would be way worse for me if you two were murdered." They exchanged hugs one last time before Nagi and Tsuna dashed through the gates, leaving Enma staring at their swiftly retreating backs before heading back towards his room. But before turning away Enma whispered to himself, "May Godspeed be with thou Tsuna and Nagi. For the pages of the book of fate will turn to write a new chapter on not only the lives of us at the castle, but for you two brave souls who are forced from their homestead in such youth."

And with that he left to his room to attempt sleeping while being weighed down in worry for his two friends.

There is no time like the present. And in the present Tsuna and Nagi are currently fleeing from the 5 guards chasing them down. They fast approach Kiri No Cliff.

It's named Kiri No Cliff, The Kiri No meaning Misty, for the mist always in the breeze around the cliff. The cliff was a steep and supposedly fatal drop to the ground. There was a fast flowing river at the bottom. They stop, being faced with two options. Absolute death by going back to the castle and awaiting their fast approaching doom, or, have a slight, if only slight, chance at surviving the fall off the cliff. Seems as if Kami-Sama chose to decide for them, because as the guards approach the two, the cliff crumbled beneath Nagi and Tsuna. Thus, resulting in them falling. Nagi screamed as the ground broke away. Tsuna immediately Grabbed onto a thick root that was residing on the side of the cliff.

He grasped his hand around Nagi's hand and clung to the root, fearing the drop below him. The guards had backed up and once they deemed the ground sturdy and safe, the came to the edge and looked down. Upon seeing the two scared six year olds they started a rescue attempt. Key Word being Attempt. One of them was lowered down using a rope. The rope ran out right as the man reached the level that Tsuna and Nagi were clasping the Root with all their might. Nagi was still holding Tsuna's Hand but her other hand grabbed the bottom of the root. Nagi was crying freely, whimpering loudly in fear of the height. The Guard reached his hand out and seemed to speak saying, "Grab on!" Tsuna heard him but refused to let go of his hold. Nagi was crying and whimpering too much to notice someone trying to help them.

The root began to break causing Nagi start screaming loudly. The guard's eyes widened as the two kids, no older than 6, slipped out of reach as they slowly fell.

(Tsuna's POV)

I wasn't scared as I felt the air around me. It felt somewhat natural. As if the elements were calling out to me. The water seemed welcoming as the wind flew through my hair. I held tightly onto Nagi though and she stopped screaming. Our eyes met, and as if having a conversation,

We hugged each other as we dropped through the air. She closed her eyes as mine stayed open to glance at the stars that seemed to hide hidden meanings before we submerged under water. A marking that suddenly appeared on my arm started to glow a light blue glow, as if asking the waters for help. The water seemed to form a protective bubble around me and Nagi, Defending us from jagged rocks that headed our way. The glow on my arm then died out as something made it's way around my neck. It was an amulet of sorts that looked like a dragon with a crystal that looked exactly like the night sky. After a quick observation though,

I gave into the welcoming darkness from lack of oxygen.

(End Of POV)

After hearing the shout of the guards and his Falcon Aiko showing him the window.

He saw Tsuna and Nagi running towards the cliff. He immediately ran through the halls loudly,

Not caring if woke anyone up. All the kids woke up while the adults slept like logs.

They followed the trail of sounds that woke them up. They were going to give Enma a piece of their minds.

Enma rushed out of the gates and towards the cliff where the commotion was going on. There was a large hill you had to climb to get up to the edge. He heard footsteps stopping beside him as he watched in horror when the cliff broke away.

The voice of Cozart greeted him, "Enma what on earth are you doing-"

He was cut off as the scream of Nagi sounded and everyone's attention turned to the cliff.

"Is T-that N-Nagi and Tsuna?!" Giotto asked in horror. There was relief that echoed through the group as Tsuna Held Nagi's hand after getting a hold on a root. They watched the attempted rescue attempt but their relief and anticipation soon turned to horror as they started to fall again. And this time there was nothing stopping them. Mukuro yelled out in desperation and helplessness, "NAGI!!!" They hit water, but they didn't resurface. Enma swore he saw a blue light coming from the water but shrugged it off as he noticed Aiko wanting his master, Enma to follow him. Where would he lead him?
With a hopeful heart and a weight on his chest, he followed Aiko's beckoning movements. Aiko led his master to a river bank a little ways away. He saw 2 familiar figures washed up on the bank.   Enma rushed over with fear and hope present on his face. When he noticed their semi labored breaths he breathed a sigh of relief. And that night, Enma unlike the other kids would be crying tears of joy.
