[ about the late update...sorry. you know the usual stuff - a.k.a. school ]

"Hello Zayn..." Louis trailed off, stopping in his tracks as he ran his eyes over his mate's face. I mean, he has seen that look take over Zayn's face before and then everything just went down the hill. It was Zayn's 'I am up to no good what so ever' look. 

And Louis wasn't quite so fond of it. 

"Louis! Finally, what took you so long man?" Zayn asked as he turned towards Louis who walked towards him slowly. He was curious. Zayn was up to something- that wasn't hard to guess. Whatever he was up to was definitely related to the Athens house. 

Louis creased his eyebrows together and glared at Zayn. Maybe, if he stared enough, he might just get a clear view of his thoughts. 

"Louis?" Zayn clicked his finger in front of Louis' eyes, pulling him out of his thoughts. 

"What are you up to?"

"Me?" Zayn stabbed a finger into his chest, pointing to himself- and that was his 'I am up to no good what so ever but I am going to act innocent' look. 

"Yes you" Louis demanded as he pulled out a seat opposite Zayn and made himself comfortable. He had a feeling this was going to be long. 

Zayn stared at Louis similarly as to how Louis had stared at him a few moments ago. 

"How did you know?" Zayn asked as he twirled a pen on his fingers. He had his homework laid out in front of him but really, his mind was far away from it. Earlier, the conversation that he had shared with Payne still fresh in his mind. 

He just didn't know what to make off it. 

"Well, firstly you have that look on-"

"What look?" 

"Oh you know the smirk and the bright, cheerily eyes. If I didn't know just mischievous that look is, I might even fall for it- quite an attractiive look, might I say." Louis replied, shrugging simply. Speaking of 'attractive' Louis was suddenly reminded of Harry and his mood instantly fell. After looking forward to this day since ages he couldn't express just how angry he was when he got that detention. 

And it wasn't even his fault! 

He did not add copy anyone's homework- if anything that person probably stole his work and copied it. 

"Did you tell Harry?" Louis asked. 

"I didn't find him but I found Payne, so I told him. He will probably tell Styles when he sees him" Zayn informed him. Louis nodded and sat back, leaning back against his chair. He wanted to Harry this face to face but he really didn't know how to face Harry anymore. 

"So you and that look, what's up with it?" Louis asked, dragging his thoughts away from Harry. 

"Well, do you really want to know?" Zayn asked. 

"Yes, go ahead" Louis nodded gesturing towards Zayn. Zayn took in a sharp breath and stood up. He walked around Louis before he placed a small, scrapy piece pf paper with tiny handwriting before Louis. 

"Read it" Zayn said. 

"The scheme" Louis read out, his eyes joining together yet again. What was this plan that Zayn had? So far, Louis wasn't exactly sure if this was actually going to turn out right. He had a feeling he wasn't going to like this.

The Scheme.

Step One: Compliments- compliment him as much as I can that's the only whay to his heart. Furthermore, spending some time with him could always help

Step Two: Date. Ask Payne out on date in the sweetest way possible

Step Three: Louis asks Styles' out. 

Step Four: Shagging Payne. I mean, if I go to this much trouble- reward is always welcomed. 

Step Five: The last but the best step- humiliation. 

"Zayn... no way. You can not- please tell me this is not what I think it is" Louis pleaded as he turned around in his seat to glare up at Zayn who had nothing but a smirk smeared across his face. 

"I might as well have some fun while helping you. It's only fair. And it's nothing to big, just a little fun. Chill Lou" Zayn replied as he took his seat again, facing Louis with the same look as earlier. And Louis was right, he doesn't like not one bit. 

This was taking the rivarly to an upper level- it was stupid and yet, he knew that now Zayn had his mind made up there was no way that he would refuse now. 

"But Za-"

"Louis, just a little fun yeah?" He interrupted. Louis sighed and let out an unsure nod. He let his eyes run over the piece of paper again, eyes pausing on step four. 

"You wanna shag Payne?" He asked Zayn with wide eyes. 

"Maybe"

[ hope that was okay, I tried. Sorry for the lack of interactions between Ziam in this chapter, I promise there will be some in the next chapter. ]
