I'm a cheerful person. I always laugh over petty things. Laughing over what people says. I'm crazy at times. My friends think that I'm insane because I laugh in front of them without anything funny. Well, it is just that, they don't know I'm thinking of something that makes me laugh real hard.

But don't worry, I'm not insane, I don't have any mental disorder, I promise!

One day, something happened in our house that made me realize to always be careful when laughing. Yes, laughter is the best medicine but it can also HARM YOU!

One sunday, my cousin Larry (we live in the same house) confessed to us that he feels something strange in our house this past few days.

"What?! You too? I saw a strange shadow last night in the bathroom downstairs." Said Arry, Larry's twin sister.

Larry and Arry were both staying at our house for quite sometime now. They were assigned here in our city because of their work, so my mom offered to let them stay here, which made me so happy. We're four now! Me, Mom, Arry and Larry.

"Me too. A strange feeling was wrapping all around my body while I was cooking at the kitchen." Mom said while hugging herself.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Are you guys insane? HAHAHAHAH! You know what, you're just watching too much horror movies that's why."
I said while holding my tummy.

"Annie, shut up! You are not taking this matter seriously." Yelled mom.

"So, you haven't felt anything strange around us these past few days, Annie?" Asked Arry.

"No. Certainly not."

"Wait! We should call now a paranormal expert, this is giving me goosebumps." Mom suggested.

"Dad has a friend who's a paranormal expert that lives here in the city. I'll call dad now." Larry stood up and picked up his phone from his pocket.

"Wait! Seriously? Are you guys really gonna call that paranormal expert? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Oh c'mmon! That's just a product of your imagination. HAHAHAHA!" I laughed real hard. Thinking that they were just kidding.

"Annie, listen to me. There's nothing funny here okay? I was like you before. I don't believe on ghosts, or anything. But those ghosts and spirits made me believe that they're real." Mom started to cry. "I never felt this feeling before ever since we moved to this house. So please! If you haven't felt anything, please just be careful." I felt guilty and nervous after mom cried.

I just don't know why I don't believe on ghosts, spirits, unsaved souls or anything else. Maybe because I haven't seen or felt their presence before? That's why this whole thing that is happening today, isn't that serious for me. And I find it really funny because I never saw my family this scared before.

A few hours later, the door bell rang. Larry ran to the door and a tall man appeared.
"Hi! You're Larry right? I'm John, the paranormal expert." Said the tall man.

"Oh hi! Please come in! This is Arry, my twin sister. Aunt Lily, dad's sister. And Annie, Aunt Lily's daughter, our cousin." We all greeted him.

Without any further ado, Larry, Arry and Mom told John every detail about what they felt in our house these past few weeks. And when it's my turn...
