The Nightmare Man

Chapter 2

"Michael where the hell are you." I whisper shout as Zoey and I creep through the dark hallways. We pause as we hear a what sounds like nails scraping against the wall we slowly turn around but see nothing in the darkness of the hallway I grab Zoey's arm and speed walk away from the noise and turn the corner into another hallway We he a noise from a door on our left as something pounds against it Zoey let's out a frightened screech backiv away from the door "wait Zoey is that you?" Michael says from behind the door I let out a sigh of relief " oh Michael we've been looking for you everywhere." Zoey says rushing up to the door "yeah Michael why are you in there?" I say as I move closer to the door as well I look through the small window on the door and see Michael's face lit up by the candle he had "I walked in here then the door got stuck." He said while jiggling the door nob to show us. "ok you push and Zoey and I will pull." I say and then his candle goes out his face disappearing from our view I gasp "Michael!" Zoey screams yanking at the door nob "oh god." I say grabbing ahold and pulling the door as well when a light flickers on "I'm ok." He says "just hurry up and get me out." He says slightly frantic "then start pushing dammit." I say and he slams his shoulder into the door as we pull and it fly's open and we all fall to the floor and we're swallowed in darkness once more I start counting as I light my candle at seven seconds and breathe a sigh of relief and I see both Michael and Zoey made it in time to.

Michael looks at his watch "it's 3:30" he says  a happy look on his face knowing this twisted game of hide and seek is almost over. "Where are the others?"he asks and Zoey Immediately starts crying "trever and tori are stuck in salt circles." I explain to him quietly as I rub Zoey's back soothingly as confusion fills Michael's face "Daniel.... Daniels dead Michael he was practically ripped in Half." I tell him sadly "holy shit." Michael says  I nod and we walk To where tori is as were walking Michaels watch beeps he looks at it and back at us "game over." He says wearily and blows out his candle we wait and nothing happens and we sigh in relief he pulls out a flashlight and flicks it on and jogs down the hall us following behind our burnt out candles lying on the floor behind us.

Michael shined his light down the hallway Daniel's body was but it was gone the only thing left was blood and intestines "oh god."Michael says passing the hall and going to the room Tori is in she is still there shaking on the floor "come on Tori." Michael says pulling her off the floor only for her to fall back down unable to stand on shaking legs. He hand me the flashlight and has Zoey help him situate Tori on his back so he can carry her out. We find Trever and soon we leave the abandoned Hospital. I look back as we leave to see a black figure with horns and frightening red eye and long clawed fingers looking back at me it lifts a clawed had and waves as if to say see you soon before vanishing altogether.
