He sat on the floor, alone.

No one was around. The floor stretched for miles and miles in distance, in silence, in emptiness, in darkness.

He blinked.

A woman sat in front of him.

Her skin was pale. Her hair was black. Her eyes closed.

She smiled at him.

'I'm happy to see you again, Noah.'

He smiled back.

'Me too, Mum.'

She opened her eyes and stretched out her hand. She rubbed his hair.

He could look in a mirror anytime, but her eyes always dazzled him. They were the one thing he remembered about her the most.

Dark, yet light, they made him feel lost.

He blinked.

She disappeared.

He waited in silence.

Someone embraced him from behind, tightly.

It was warm, but Noah didn't deny it.

She burried her face on his back.

He stared downwards at the dark.

' Why do you keep hurting me?' she asked.

'I never meant to,' He replied.

'You keep on hurting yourself. You're hurting me too.'

'I don't have a choice,' he said. 'I don't want to hurt anyone.'

'You're hurting me. You're hurting yourself.'

'I never meant to hurt you.'

'Stop being so lonely.'

Darkness clouded itself around them.

'I have to keep myself in check,' he said, unfocused eyes still stuck to the dark.

She embraced him harder.

'I can't control this any other way.'

'I'm sure you can.'

The cloud grew blacker, thicker and larger.

'I didn't find it.'

She held him harder.

'You'll do.'

The cloud grew larger. He didn't flinch.

Her presence was too warm for him to worry about it.

'You need to stop hurting yourself.'

'I can't.'

She rested one side of her face on his back.

'You can.'

She shattered.

His eyelids rocketed upwards. It disappeared.

The cloud grew larger, almost swallowing him.

His heart beat quickly. He looked left and right as panic rose in his body, and up his throat.

He eyes shut tight and he covered his ears as the cloud grew larger and thicker more quickly.

'Fall with us. Please do fall with us.'

'Die. Die. Die. Die. Die. Die. Die. Die. Die. Die. Die.'

'Oh, Noah, why don't you want to make suffering with us?'
