I don't know why I haven't told any of my friends what happened yet, so I'm gonna do that now. On Friday I was getting on bus 21 to go home. We were at eagle heights at the time. I was walking to the back of the bus to sit in the 1 person seat. And when I turned to sit down I hit my knee on the seat. That doesn't sound like it would do much but it did. My kneecap was dislocated and it was at 45 degrees to the left of where it was supposed to be. It was very painful. bUt gUESs wHat? Since I was at eagle heights, we still had to go to my bus stop. So I was just in pain through the whole ride. And of course my bus is very bumpy. But since the bus driver knew I was in pain, he slowed the bus down so the bumps wouldn't hurt as much. Oh and at eagle heights this little boy told the bus driver what happened and he got the principal and the vice principal to help me. I called my mom to be at the bus stop when I got there. So when I was at my bus stop we had to wait on paramedics and the ambulance. While I was waiting the bus driver was talking to my mom and dad. And soon after the paramedics came and helped me. They put this blood pressure thing on my arm where it squeezes hard. And I was telling them what happened and how much it hurt. From 1 to 10 ten being excruciating I say 7.5 or an 8. So they were asking me questions when the ambulance came. And during all of this when we were at the bus stop some kids were saying like if they can just walk home. And the bus driver was like, "can y'all have empathy for her!" And in my head I was just like, thank u! Anyway the ambulance was there and they had a stretcher. Now I couldn't even move my leg it was so painful. But they had to carry me on the stretcher so I braced myself and they carried me onto the stretcher through the emergency door at the back of the bus. (Thank god I was sitting in the back) So they put me in the ambulance. And I was in PAIN. I was saying OW every second. They put this IV in my arm which is supposed to make me sleep. I don't remember much after that. After that I remember being carried on the stretcher to my hospital room and getting in the bed. I remember practicing to walk with my crutches and watching tv while eating chick-fil-a. I was awake when they put my kneecap into place but it was very quick and the IV helped. And they gave me this big brace so my leg is straight. On Saturday my mom gave me this to cheer me up!
It was a very eventful time. Hopefully I'll get better soon. Wish me good luck!
Buhhh byeee peeps! Stay safe!
