Lazerus woke up in the infirmary the next morning. He was feeling much better. Maria was sitting on his chest, gently prodding his face with a tan paw. He gently sat up, taking the cat into his arms.

"What's up, Maria?" He asked as he gently smoothed her fur.

He got up and walked into the living room. He found Andy sitting there; asleep. Maria, rubbing her head against Lazerus's chest in obvious loneliness, meowed sadly. Andy jumped at the sound.

"Morning," He yawned as he noticed Lazerus watching him. "I must have fallen asleep. Have Ann and Sol returned?"

"Wait a second," Lazerus looked at Maria's sad face. "Where are Sol and Ann? They haven't returned yet?"

Lazerus looked up and was annoyed to see Andy had fallen asleep again. He sighed heavily. Andy, you idiot.

"Andy wake up," He hollered, but Andy didn't stir so he placed Maria next to him. "Wait for it..."

Maria screeched and scratched Andy. Andy leapt to his feet, the sleep gone from his eyes. He glared at Maria.

"Fucking cat," He shouted angrily and started to chase Maria around the room. "COME HERE YOU DAMN CAT!"

Maria playfully raced around the room. Andy, like a mad man, comically crashed into things as he raced after her. Finally, Maria tired of the game. So, she jumped up and into Lazerus's arms. Andy stopped before him and cursed under his breath. Damn cat got away again.

"Blasted cat will be the end of me," Andy glared at Maria.

"Meow," she agreed with him.

"Anyway," Andy growled at the cat before looking up at Lazerus. "What do you want?"

Before Lazerus could respond, Maria jumped out of his arms again and softly padded over to the door. Andy walked over to the door. When he opened it, Maria hopped outside.

"Right, the tunnel," Andy followed the cat into the jungle.

Lazerus joined him. Once again the pair walked into the jungle after the little beige tabby. They reached the tree, tied the rope again, and climbed down into the hole. Andy activated his eagle vision. The markings glowed on the walls.

"Like I said yesterday," Andy began to walk further into the tunnel. "These markings depict some kind of battle the natives fought to protect the Observatory."

The battle raged on around them as the team searched deeper. Then the visions of bloody battles ended and where replaced by pictures of what life must have been like before the war. Families and farming; hunting and teaching. Andy stared at the walls in wonder. Then the pictures changed again. Now there where people bowing, but to what, he was not sure. Then they reached the back of the cave. Painted on the back wall where three massive square buildings topped with ancient writing in a strange language.

"I don't understand the strange writing," Andy told Lazerus after describing what he saw. "but these symbols over here look like landmarks."

Andy pointed to a section of the wall. There he could see a cluster of images. Trees, rocks, a river, and ... a waterfall! From what Andy had seen of the map Michael had shown him of the area, there was a waterfall a couple mile away. Andy quickly turned on his earpiece and contacted Michael and Johnny.

"I think I found the observatory," He spoke quickly in his excitement. "It's close to a waterfall in the cliffs."

"Good work man," Michael responded. "Get back to the hideout asap."
