"Is it absolutely necessary father? Is there no other way to solve this war? I would like to have a choice in who I spend the rest of my life with." Jimin tries to reason with his father, Sunghae.

"Son, you must do this for the people. We have waited to make peace with the vampires for years and now we have our chance, we must take it." Sunghae replied, softness evidenent in his voice.

"How will this marriage benefit us anymore than a treaty? If we are trying to catalyze peace, won't the treaty be sufficient?"

"Jimin, if we marry you to the prince of Venezia we would not only be gaining peace between our kingdoms, we would most likely unite into one. This ensures safety and much more. Do you understand son? Also, you are of age for marriage, you are twenty-one now Jimin." Sunghae replied.

"I suppose. I am willing to do this for our kingdom." Jimin agreed. He really didn't wish to marry Jungkook of Venzia, but he would do everything for his people. He was raised to think that way after all. He decided it best to marry for the greater good, ignoring his own wishes.

"When shall the carriage for Venezia arrive?" the boy asked a servant.

"In twenty-five minutes your highness. "

"Very well then father, I will retire to my chambers and make sure I have prepared properly." the prince spoke walking towards the direction of his room.

"Taehyung, do you believe it is possible for him to... come to like me?" Jimin questioned his best friend of the same age.

"Jiminie if anyone dislikes you or even comes close to disliking you, take them for fools. You are the most precious person in the world." Taehyung replied, wearing his heart on his sleeve.

The two boys had been friends since birth and trusted each other with every aspect of their lives. Since Taehyung part of Jimin's court, he too would be travelling to Venezia and for that, Jimin was eternally grateful. He didn't know how he was supposed to survive if Taehyung couldn't join him.

"How do you think the marriage will come along? Are you excited?"  Taehyung asks with a rectangular smile.

"I don't know Tae I've never even laid eyes on Prince Jungkook. All I know is that he is depicted as a ",irresistible man", but I have also heard he is as cold as ice itself." Jimin replies with worry evident in his voice.

"Well I guess we shall see for ourselves later on in the day." Tae adds before getting up from the chair across from Jimin's bed. Suddenly two knocks were heard at the door.

"Your highness, his majesty requests for your presence along with lord Taehyung's at the main gate.

"Thank you Nari. Please tell my father we are on our way."

"Of course your highness" Nari bowed before stepping away.

"I suppose it is time for our departure." Tae states with an excited look.

"Indeed it is"

"Prince Jimin  and Lord Taehyung of Avaria have arrived!" the Herald of Venezia announced for the kingdom of vampires to hear.

"It's time Jimin. Are you ready?" Taehyung questioned the latter as he fixed the collar of his suit before looking to his best friend.

"As ready as I'll ever be."

"Well, here we go." the prince spoke before the carriage stopped in front of the gates of Venzia. Suddenly, the carriage door opened to reveal the hundreds of vampires awaiting the arrival of the human Prince Jimin. Along with them, waited the most beautiful creature Jimin had ever laid eyes upon...The Prince of Vampires, Jeon Jungkook.

*SO... I don't know if you guys like reading about
m-preg or whatever but I've decided that Jin is no longer Jimin's dad. He is now Jungkook's dad (or mom whatever). My namjin heart couldn't bear to have them in different pairings😂😭. So now Jimin's dad is Sunghae. Sorry if you guys are weirded out by my new change or something but at the same time I'm low key not sorry cause my heart is really happy.😂
