Axel laid in a dark, unsetteling room. It was silent. For the most part, at least. The back of his head ached, but when he lifted his arm up to rub it, there seemed to be something heavy clinging to his wrists. His hands followed the long chains leading to the wall, which he was chained to. The chain was long, but not long enough to get from one end of the room to the other.

His heart started pacing. He couldn't remember how or when he ended up here. "Hello?" He said, quietly. Hoping to get a response.

"Hey." He got excited to hear a response. The voice sounded beautiful and calm. He started to calm himself down, allowing himself to talk again. "where am I?" he asked, his heart still racing.

"Would you really, really want to know?" the other voice whispered. "Yes, please." He said in response.

"How old are you?", "I'm fifteen. but what does that have to do with my question?" He asked, trying to sound as calm as possible. Even though it seemed impossible to do so, at this point.

"Nothing. But.. This is no place for a someone as young as you. Or anyone at that matter." It said, calmly. "Why? What's going to happen?" He panicked. "I don't want you to be scared. So for now, just talk to me. Quietly" the other voice whispered.

"Okay, uhh.. what's your name?" He questioned. "I'm Joyce, but you can call me Joy. I'm nineteen." She responded.

"I'm Axel, It's nice to meet you Joy. And, if you don't mind me asking, how long have you been here? How long will I be here?" He eageraly asked as she sighed, rubbing her hands down her face.

"I've been here for almost 2 years. It's like a nightmare that I've never woken up from. But at least your here with me now. It's great to have someone to talk to."

He looked through the dark to where her voice was from and whispered in what seemed to be a sad and broken expression. "Joy.. Why does this place seem like a nightmare? What happenes here that you haven't told me about? What even happened to me eariler? How did he end up here?" The more questions he asked, the more frightened he became.

"Axel, I'm sorry. But I just don't have the heart to tell you. You'll have to find out on your own." He started softly weeping. "Please I just need to kn-" She stopped by shooshing him. "Axel, do what I say and you'll stay unharmed. At least for the moment. Okay?" He  whimpered a quiet "yeah" as she told him to pretend to stay asleep.

After a few minutes you could easily hear footsteps coming closer and closer to the room. A bright, heavenly looking light entered the room. But this sure was no "angel" entering it.

Axel panicked and gasped, loudly. He did what Joy said and pretended to sleep, but it came to no use since he already gasped so loudly. The man turned on a small light in the back corner of the dim room. He took a quick glance of the room looking at the size of it, It's colour and all the items and people in it. He then looked over towards Joy. She had beautiful red hair, with freckles spread across her face. She was very beat up. It hurt him to see such an innocent looking person like her, get beat up by such a terrible man like him.

He looked at the man in the corner of the room which was picking up items, his back facing towards them. He had old, beat up looking clothing on. Axel whispered in his quietest voice "I'm sorry, Joy, for not sleeping like you said." Joy then simply shook her head in disappointment and turned her head the other way.

The man turned around and looked Axel straight in the eyes. As if he were looking straight into his soul. His shirt was blood ridden, his face looked as if he beat himself up as much as he did Joy. "Why am I here?" He asked, shaking in fear. The man responded with a rusty-sounding voice "Why do you think you are? We wouldn't have just kidnapped you for no reason." He grinned.

Axel shuddered. "You kidnapped me?"

"No, of course I didn't." The man said sarcastically while pulling a sharp blade from behind his back. Axel squirmed and started hyperventilating. "What are you going to do to me?!" He yelled in fear. The man stepped closer to him. "Well what would you perfer? Stomach? Or back?" He asked. Axel didn't answer. He just layed in silence, letting himself cry. Knowing what will happen to him.

The man replied "Stomach it is." right before taking the knife and running it down through his stomach. He took his dear time, making sure he felt as much pain as he could. The cut wasn't deep enough to kill him, but it was just enough to keep him in extreme pain.

Axel screamed and cried as the man sat there with a disgusting smug look on his face. After a few minutes of watching Axel scream in pain, he returned his knife back into It's rightful place and left the room.

Joyce quietly cried while hearing her newly found friend scream and cry whilst trying to escape his chains. After all, he's all she has left.
