Chapter 12
(Jesy's POV:)
(Monday, At School.....)
After the ball, everyone is now back to normal. But there's a lot of changes also. Many couples are now together and they are all lovey dovey. The nerds evolve and they become now a sociable persons and they change also their life styles like on how they look and they act. But not all changes brings them in a good way.
Some students looks broken hearted. Others is sad and others is like nothing happened. Like Hilary, she look bad today and I don't know why. She didn't like to herself today. She kinda even bully some nerds and didn't even picked at me even our gazes met at the locker room a while ago.
And me, I can't even forget that night. That I'm dancing to a stranger and we kissed. And that's my first kiss for Pete's sake! And I also lost also my necklace that is important to me since my dad give it to me before he died and I promised him to take care of it but I broke the promise. I lost it. I lost the only thing that only left abd reminds me of my father. And I cried for that night after I said to mom that I just lost it. She's alittle bit upset but she stills forgive me. And I'm thankful for that.
As I walk and headed to the classroom, I saw a couple who's just making out at the corner. Not even minding that there's many students who will just walk by here. Can't they control theirselves from eating each other's faces?! Sighed.
"Oh! Hey Jesy!"
Marcus greeted with a big fake smile written on his face as I walk in the classroom. I already told you about him so no need to explain it again to you. I can't also forget the day after he saw the different girl that he was just thrown a ball at gym cause the other students laugh at her and that's me. He is sorry and he even have a gutts to asked me out. Jerk. He thought that I will for him..... Again. I learn my lessons so I forgave him and also, busted him.
(Flashbacks.......)
After me and Hilary encounter at the locker room with her little minions, I headed to my classroom to attend English as always the first subject in the morning. I take a seat at my usual seats even the jocks offered their seats to me.
I plopped down and then I open my bag to get my English book and read some of the past lessons that we discussed last week so incase if Mrs. Henderson will announce a test, I'm ready and I have now the answers to all the questions that will be thrown.
(Skip Time: After The Morning Sessions.......)
So it's now lunch time and I'm here in the cafetiria to buy food. After I buy my food for lunch, I usually sat down at the back part where no one will want to sit since this is where "The Loosers" usually sits and they don't want to be one of.
As I'm going to eat, I feel a presence next to me and somehow, I look up so I will know who's this person and I regret myself for that. Because the guy who broke my heart at the gym is in my front of me and stared down at me. Marcus.
"What do you want?!"
I snapped as I look away pretend that I'm goinv to eat but I'm just stabbing the chicken with my fork and it produce a unwanted stingy sound but I don't pay attention to it. I just want this jerk stay way from me and not wanting me to see him again.
"Can we talk?"
He asked and his voice full of pleading but I know this is just a game. He will play to me again and I never want that happened again.
"No."
I said sternly signaling him that I don"t want to talk to him anymore but he's a hardheaded jerk so...
"Please Jesy!"
"Fine!!"
I give up and then got up then follow him on where he will lead me to where we would talk.
He bring me to the school fountain at the back part at the building. We sat at the one and only bench but in opposite sides. Me, on the left side while him, on the right side. We just sat there in awkward silence but I just broke it so he can start this shits and then finished this in asap.
"Ehem..... So what?" - Jesy
"I-I'm sorry." - Marcus
"Why would you say sorry?" - Jesy
And that's when he give his reasons why he is sorry. Because he calls me nerd, bitch, pathetic, weak, brat and ugly. Besides that, he is sorry also because he always laugh and then throw things at me.
"Apology accepted.That's all?" - Jesy
"No." - Marcus
"What else?"- Jesy
He said also that he like me and it i he's honored to say yes that I'm going out with him but I refused.
"But...." - Marcus
"No buts. I don't to fall on your damn trap again Marcus. And I comfortable of my changes and I change for good and not just to earn popularity. I don't need fame but to finish my studies is my goal."
I said to his face as he look at me mad.
"You're such a hard to get! You know that many girls won't refuse me but you. You are the first who do this to me! You're pathetic! Don't ever crawling back to me again!" - Marcus
"I'm not like of your girl toys and hey! Don't worry, I would not do that. I have a self - respect Marcus!" - Jesy
"Pathetic!" - Marcus
He screamed and then walk away. I'm not hurt of what he said because I know that's not true so I just walk and headed back also.
(Flashbacks Ends.....)
So that's what happened at that time. Start at that day, I ignore him and pretend to myself that he's not around here. As he greeted me, I just walk past at him. I just want this day ended.

It's now 8:30 in the evening and I just realise that me and Sarah never talked for the whole day since she's absent and I don't know why? She didn't even called or texted me. I wonder why.
I'm here in my room, staring at my calendar that was pinned up and counting the days left.
It's 15 days left.
My mind spoke as I got up and crossed the date on my graduation and I smile at the fact that finally, I'm free from all of them. From the bad memories, from bullies, from everything! I'm finally free.
But what about the night that I'm dancing with him, to the stranger, can I just let it go and move on?
