You looked at everyone. Your wings folded disappearing into your skin. You were in shock still.
"What am I?" You mumbled.
"Y/N?" Luke grabbed your hand. "Let's go take a visit to your parents."
"If they're even my parents." You sighed.
You watched as everything went black and you appeared in your living room. The smell of roast cooking filled your nose.
"Mom! Dad!" You shouted.
Your mom walked out from the kitchen. She smiled brightly but you didn't smile back.
"Explain." Tears fell from your eyes.
"Explain what?" Your mom's voice was soft and caring.
"This." You turned and as you did your golden wings popped out from your back.
"Y/D/N!" Your mom called for your dad.
He rushed down stairs and froze. His eyes never leaving the golden wings.
"Stay for dinner, we'll explain everything." He nodded.
"Why didn't you tell me." You sniffed.
"What are you?" She asked them.

You and Luke sat the dinner. Your father looked down at the table as your mom was in silent tears.
"You were set on the steps of our church. The one we owned when you were little." Your mom sniffed. "We didn't know much until a few months later a lady came to church. She was beautiful. She told us. Your father was a demon and she was an angel. She couldn't keep you because of what you are. She told us to never let you come in contact with a demon. She told us to protect you and we failed. Ashton failed ... but when I saw you with Luke. I knew he would never hurt you. I knew that somehow he would bring out the real you." She paused. "He did."
"We never wanted this." Your father spoke. "We failed your mom."
"It's not your fault. Everything happens for a reason ... but what happened to my real parents?" You asked.
"Ask his father." Your mother looked at Luke. "He should know something about what happened your father as of your mother...I don't know."
You looked at Luke. He nodded, knowing what you were already going to say.
"After we finish up here." Luke rubbed your back.
"Eat up, you're going to need it." Luke's eyes scanned your face.
You gave him a confused look, but you finished the food on your plate.
"Mom. Dad." You looked at both of them. "No matter what, you two will always be my parents."
You hugged them both before you and Luke left.
