Chapter One:

*BEEP BEEP BEEP*

My Hand Lands On The Off Button For The Alarm. I Look At The Time And Jump Out Of My Bed, "Great! Going To Be Late On The First Day Of School!" I Race To The Closet And Get My Long Blue Jeans Out, And A White Shirt That Has A Caption Saying "Whatever". It Was My Favorite Shirt That I Bought The Other Day, Then I Grab My High Top Converse With The Color Of Black And White. I Rapidly Race Downstairs Catching A Glimpse Of My Mom, Sitting At The Counter Table Smiling At Me. "Hey Sweetie! Sit Down! I'll Take You Today!" She Says. "Hey Mom! Thanks I Thought You Were Going To Work Today?" I Say. "Oh Well Today We Had A Day Off, Something Happened To The Boss So I'm Going Tomorrow." She Says. I Walk Near The Backyard Looking Out Of The Large Glass Window, Then I See My Mastiff, Bella, Racing Toward The Window Barking Wagging Her Tail Rapidly. It Had Been Two Years We've Had Her Now, She Was Abused When We Found Her, And She Was Scared Of Everyone. And I Knew That I Had To Achieve A Goal Of Trying To Make Her Less Scared, And I Did. She Is The Bravest Dog I Have Ever Known. And I Love Her More Than Anything. Just When I Was Going Out To Play With Her My Mom Calls Out And Says "Time For School!" I Sigh And Grab My Backpack. I Really Wanted To Go To School, Just To See My Best friends. But I Was Nervous To Meet New People Especially In Middle School. I Had Just Started 7th Grade, And I Was Nervous Than Usual. As I Walk Outside, I Take A Deep Breath And Think To Myself "You Can Do This." I Step Into My Moms Car, And Watch Her Start The Engine. "Mom? How Do You Make New Friends?" I Ask Nervously. "Just Remember, Be Yourself! And Everything Will Be Ok!" I Nod As She Starts Driving Me To School.

As The Car Stops In A Parking Space, I Jump Out And Say Bye To My Mom. "Take Care Isabella! I Love You!" She Shouts Out, "Love You To Mom!" I Reply Back. I Start Walking Toward The Huge School. I Look At The Schools Name "Vista Verde. A+ School!" I Sigh And Walk Inside. As I Step Inside The Big Opening, I Catch A Glance Of My Friends, They Have Already Caught Up With Echother. I Smile And Walk Towards Them. But They Soon See Me And They All Shout Out My Name "Isabella!" They Shout Out. They All Crowd Around Me Giving Bear Hugs. Saying How Much They Missed Me. Then I See My Best friend, Well, My Sister Honestly! "Amber." I Say With A Smile. "Isabella. I Missed You... So Much." With A Bigger Smile Than Mine. We Hurry Hug Echother And Laugh At The Same Time. Then I See My Other Bestfriend/Sister. "Isabella!! Omg I Have Missed You So Much!" My Bestfreind Emma Says. "Trust Me, I Did To!"

We All Sit Down In A Table And Talk About How Fun Summer Was And How Excited We Were To Make More Memories. After Ten Minutes, We Get Interrupted With The Sound Of A Bell. I Look At My Schedule And Say, "Who Has Band First Period?" My Friend Samantha, Sammy For Short, Says "Me! Let's Go!" I Wave At My Friends And They Wave Back. Then Sammy And I Head To Band Class.

     While Walking To The Band Room Sammy Says, "I Really Hope There Isn't Any Problems This Year .." "Of Course There's Going To Be Problems, Its Middle School . But Don't Worry , As Long As You Have Me And Everyone Else , Nothing Will Happen ." I Say With A Smile . She Nods Gladly . As We Continue To Walk , We Finally Approach To Our Class . We Walk Up To The Door And Take Deep Breaths, Then We Look At Each Other, And Say, "We Can Do This ." And Walk In . As We Enter The Classroom , The Whole Room Goes Silent. And All Eyes Are On Me .
