Mrs. Smith in all honesty your best shot at life would be to terminate this pregnancy. We can begin your cancer treatment sooner. You can have children again another time.

No doctor you're wrong. I am having my daughter; I will beat cancer that's my best shot.

3 months later

Congratulations Mrs. Smith you have a healthy baby girl.

As you have noticed I wasn't brought into this world without complications so I'm not going to leave it without a few more.

Let's start from the beginning shall we.

July 6, 1999 a beautiful baby girl was born 4 weeks premature to a mother with Hodgkin's- Lymphoma cancer. Ah yes a glorious day that was. Doctors told mother dearest she wouldn't make it unless she got rid of me. Boy, was that a cold day in hell for the doctor a year later when she beat cancer. I believe mothers exact words were "Told you this was my best shot" as she walked out of the hospital with her middle finger raised at the physician who tried to convince her to abort me. But that was 15 years ago a lot has changed since then. Mostly for the worst
