(I've never written before but all the amazing authors on here inspired me.
Thanks for checking this out)"Sarah. It's late, get out of bed! You're going to be late for school!"
Great. Another one of those mornings. I'm going to get up late. My parents are going to give it to me for getting up late and I won't eat because of it.
"Ya. Im up. I'm up" I say loud enough for my parents to hear. Sitting up in bed I look at the clock on my bed side table and see that it's 7:20 am. School starts at 7:50.
I groan and throw my legs over the side of my bed. Grabbing my phone I plug it into my speaker and turn on Z100. Letting the music fill my room.
Taking a deep breath to motivate myself I walk to the bathroom connected to my room and turn on the shower to heat up the water. I take a quick glance at the mirror but don't look long. I've never liked the way I look. Especially not in the morning.
I step into the shower and immediately zoning out. The hot water soothes my aching muscles due to the yoga I have been doing in my backyard every night. Every morning I regret it but I like the fact that my body aches from working out. It makes me feel like I'm doing something for myself for once in my life.
Getting out of the shower I run briskly to my room and dry off. Putting on a pair of jeans and a sweatshirt I walk back to my bathroom. Scrunching my hair up with some product to give my natural dirty blond curls a little touch up.
Looking back over at my clock I curse under my breath softly. Fifteen minutes until school starts.
Running down the stairs I head straight for the door. Not wanting my parents to see me. Sadly I'm caught as I'm turning the door handle.
"Aren't you going to eat breakfast?" My father, Dean Wingfield, says from the living room. Not even looking up at me from his news paper.
"No. I have to get going. Plus I'm not hungry." Ironically my stomach growls loudly at I say that. I tense hoping that my dad didn't hear it. He gets pretty mad when I lie.
"Your mother wants you to go shopping tonight and get the usual stuff." He says in that monotone voice of his.
Ok. So that mean he wants me to pick up milk, cereal, soap, shower supplies, along with other normal everyday items.
I nod as if he can see me. Opening the front door I walk down the steps then down my drive way to my soul position. My Mitsubishi Montereo Sport. I bought it on my own and pay for everything it needs on my own.
Jumping into it I race to school. Everyday I have to remind myself that I'm a senior and I only have a few more months until graduation. I've never been a fan of school and being a senior is a reminder on how close I am to being done in this hell hole.
Pulling into the school parking lot I frown when I see that someone had already taken my usual parking spot. Driving to the back of the lot I park and grab my things. I hear the first bell ring.
I start to run as fast as I can to the doors when another car pulls in and almost hits me. I'm relieved that I'm not the only one late for school today but that doesn't change the fact that this person nearly hit me.
I stop as the car stops and someone opens the passenger door. Before I can stop myself I declare rudely, "watch where you're going. You're not the only one late you know."
I watch who ever is on the inside step out. His head snaps in my direction.
My breath hitches in my throat. He is definitely the most handsome guy I've ever seen and I just used my bitch voice with him.
This creature standing ten feet away from me has broad shoulders, a tall stature, dark brown hair, check bones and a chin that is sharp enough to kill, paired with beautiful full lips.
Wow.
I'm snapped back into reality when I hear something close to a growl come from inside the car. The man standing in front of me turns and says something that I can't hear but I bet his voice is like silk.
I'm to embarrassed to stick around so I turn and walk into the school as fast as I can.
Who was that guy? I had never seen him at school before.
And one more thing. What the heck growled? I didn't see a dog in the car.(Have any thoughts? Who is he? What was in the car? Or do you have any questions? Let me know)
