It was dark and stormy. The cold night air whipped through my hair as I rode out of the small village I may never see again. Something horrible was approaching, and I knew I wasn't going to live to see the end. With darkness trailing behind me, I could see my last hope of any chance of escaping up ahead, this won't end well for me I knew that, but there was still hope for a better future and past, even if that meant I would die, I just needed him. I jumped off my horse and kept on running, not knowing if the boy was ready, but it was too late, I had to find him, for my sake and the rest of the world's, no matter the consequences.
