The aftermath (A tomatt fanfic)

The new place

That was it.

Edd, Tom and Matt looked up at the sky, watching broken pieces of what had been tords robot, scatter and fall.

They thought that would be the last time they saw Tord.

"Told you that harpoon gun would be useful" Tom smirked proving Edd wrong. Edd laughed, but Tom noticed Matt was oddly quiet. He just shrugged it off.

"I guess we need a new house" the three started walking.

"Well I did find a place."

Time skip

They were all watching zombie pirates, and eventually, it ended. Edd stretched.

"Welp! That was great as expected, time for me to head back to my place. Night you guys!" Edd smiled and waved goodbye.

"Night Edd." Both Matt and Tom said, Matt being a bit more.. quiet? Weird. With that Edd walked off.

Tom got up from the couch, and was just about the leave, until he noticed Matt looking longingly at a photo that seemed quite important to him. "Hey Matt, you alright?" Tom asked out of concern. Matt was happy most of the time, so seeing him look so sad made Tom feel so.. bad.

Matt sighed. "Tom.. do you think..? N-never mind heh. Goodnight." Matt stumbled with his words. Tom knew something was up, but he'd rather not tell him. He probably just needs some rest, after all, he's been through a lot, his face was bruised from.. past incidents.

"...ok... night Matt." Tom walked out, and closed the door.
