Chapter 26: Checked Out

I showered at the hospital, and changed before walking out to see Hunter standing up. "Ready baby girl?" he sympathetically smiles, and I nod then took his hand in mine as we strode down the halls/elevators to the lobby. 

We checked out, got in Hunter's car and drove home. "I'm so thankful for you" he giggles, and places his non driving hand on my thigh whilst his elbow rested on the center rest. "I love you a whole heap" I reply, looking out on the road. 

At home, Hunter carried me bridal style to the couch. "Netflix?" he smiles beamingly, and I nod grinning, "you know me so well!" I clap repeatedly of excitement. Hunter comes back with a whole bunch of junk food and popcorn, and bottles of water, next minute I heard him say pepperoni, and that's when I knew this is gonna be lit as fuck. 

Hunter and I cuddled together, laughing at clips of shows and movies, followed by eating way too much junk food and drinking lots of water. We passed out on the couch, and all the evidence being the two small, empty pizza boxes followed by empty water bottles and numerous chocolate packets.
