They couldn't see me, but to me, the cowardly group resembled a beacon of blinding light. They ran like escaping criminals, and I stalked like a wolf waiting to pounce on my prey.

Reminiscing brings pain, but only that will bring justice to my family. I remembered how we climbed and sat on thick tree branches, admiring the majestic sunset in the horizon. Jumping from tree to tree instead of walking as it was the fastest way to reach home.

It's high time for me to stop mourning and start putting old memories to good use. I chuckled silently as I watched them from above. They panted and wheezed, stopping to catch their breath before continuing with their escape. My eyes zeroed in on Dominic's hand clutching a black object and before I knew it, he swiveled around and fired shots at my direction...
