That is the question.
To be a rich man's servant,
or a poor man's wife.
To be a success of a large company,
or be homeless on the side of the road.
To be beautiful with a wretched heart,
or the ugly duckly with a kind soul.
To be the smart one of the class,
or the one that constantly seeks help.
To be the girl that gets all the attention,
or the girl that is always stepped on.
To be the girl who gets all the guys,
or the girl who can only wish.
To be the one who gets everything she wants without question,
or the one who works for what she needs.
Some might choose to be that beautiful girl,
that girl who has the money and power to have anything she wants,
who gets all the guys, and gets all the glory.
But me?
No.
I wanna be that girl who has the beauty on the inside,
the one who deserves the things she gets,
the girl that is constantly moving forward from her failures.
I want to be that girl.
The girl that is not perfect,
because those girls that say they're perfect,
they're just barbie dolls.
We all have failure in us,
but what seperates us is simple.
Only some will acknowledge their failure(s).
