The Final Battle

After the battles we've done, I couldn't help but notice, that Joshua was acting very strange. He wouldn't talk to me, and will not even look at me. I started to notice that he's keeping a secret from me.

"Joshua?"

...

"Joshua!?"

.....

"JOSHUA!!!!"

"Huh? O-oh Estelle."

"Estelle? You always call me by my nickname, Ellie."

"Oh, I thought calling you a little bit.... Ummm.... Formal today..."

(Just what is he hiding?)

After that we were reunited with Elliot and Hanna. We started talking but Joshua just stands there right beside me speechless, as if he was dead inside...

"So, Ellie, Joshua, did you finally, avenged your parents?"

"No, not yet Hanna"

"Well, we'll help you, can you describe how he looks?"

"Uhmm... Let me see... He wears a robe, and he wields a katana, and he has this uniquely colored hair. It's the same color when Joshua goes into his Miracle Strike Mode."

"So he has a, white and the tip of the hair is colored black, correct?"

"Exactly, Elliot"

"Well then we'll have a request at the guild if anyone saw this kind of person, sound good?"

"Yeah.. Joshua, do you like the idea?"

...

"JOSHUA!!! STOP SPACING OUT LIKE THIS!!"

"Oh Estelle, I didn't see you there..."

"Is he... okay?"

"I don't know, Hanna. He's been like this since yesterday."

"Well, we must be off now, bye guys!"

"Bye!!"

"Bye Joshua!!"

*slaps Joshua in the face*

....

"Welp, worth the shot. Bye again."

"Heh, bye Hanna, Elliot!!"

After that we headed off to the inn we're staying in. Just before dinner, the guild called me. They said that they found our man. He was seen on the Castle Garden just recently.

"Okay we'll be right there...."

"K, bye"

'Estelle, what did he say?"

"Oh, he said that the man we are looking for is in the Cas--..."

"What is it?"

"He's gonna attack the queen."

"Well then, I'll meet you in front of the Castle Gate."

"Sure.."

When I got there, I saw the man we were after and went inside the castle's sewer system. We followed after him quietly, we didn't want to make him notice that we are following him.

After that we finally reached the end of the sewer. Joshua suddenly gave away our spot and he then found us. He suddenly attacked me and pushed Joshua, as if he was protecting him from me. I soon realized that they are related, because of the same power that unleashed the barrier. I kept this a secret to Joshua until the end of this battle.

"Heh, I finally get the chance to clash weapons with you..."

"You've grown up, Estelle."

"I've gotten stronger too."

"Then prove it."

(Darn it she's too strong..)

Suddenly, he charged up his power and did the same thing back when we first battled him. I was so nervous knowing, I can't control my powers, then suddenly... A voice so similar to mom's spoke to me and said:

"Estelle, to use your powers you must really believe in them."

So, I believed my powers and visualized the barrier and this really worked. I used the barrier to defend myself after that.. I felt a very strong aura, I was emitting. This really motivated me to fight with all my heart and to never give up, I have a strong determination growing stronger and stronger in my heart. Soon after I used a move that, I never used before...

After that big attack, it killed the man, basically, I turned  back time from him and made him back to ashes. We won the battle but I don't know how Joshua will react to this, killing his brother. So we went back to the inn and rested there until tomorrow.
