Seizure...Still...Seizure Part 5: Going Home

When Morgan Paige Brian was finally released into the care of her host family after her birth family had to go home due to work related things, she was still doing physical therapy and kept working harder and harder every damm day. She was going to get back playing soccer that was her goal. And she would be scoring more goals and get back in camps and go back to the World Cup and Olympics!

They started driving to the host house and Moe started dosing off and fell asleep on the window and Cari Roccaro was in the seat next to her and smiled and placed Moe's jacket on her thin but strong body and she smiled again and sighed. When Moe had collapsed and started having her seizures it scared the whole team. They didn't know what was going on! They were terrified for Moe's health and safety. She kept having seizures and then when she had the surgery none of them were sure if it was going to be the same Moe they knew and loved. They just kept praying and hoping that she would be okay.

When they got home Cari gently shook Morgan awake and helped her out of the car and Moe said "Cari I'm fine I can walk on my own." Cari nodded and carried Moe's bag and handed Moe her cane she would use until she got all of her strength back. Cari stayed next to her in case Moe fell or something and they got in and Moe was just smiling and looking relaxed as Kim and Jeff said "we are going to go pick up Moe's meds." They nodded and the host parents left.

Moe was home but she didn't feel at home that much as usual but she still felt at home. She laid on the couch and Cari set Moe's hair in her lap and ran her finger's through Morgan's hair gently and Moe smiled up at her and said "Cari that feels good." Her voice was strong and not as much stuttering as they thought it would be. Cari knew Moe wanted to play soccer so she thought on the next day she would take Moe with her to training to see if she was strong enough.

Lydia came sprinting down after hearing them come in and shouted "Morgie!!" Moe waved and said "Lydia!" Lydia hugged Moe asking like a million questions asking her how she was, if she needed anything if she needed water or food or a pillow or blanket. Moe calmed down the goalie and said "Lydia I'm fine calm down" Lydia relaxed and sat beside them and rubbed Moe's leg and Moe slowly dosed off into dream land.
Cari nudged Lydia after Moe fell asleep and said "I was thinking we take Moe with us to practice and see if if is stronger enough to play yet." Lydia nodded saying "good idea."

They stayed on the couch talking quietly until their host parents came home and they asked "was Moe given a dosage of her medicine." Cari said "yeah they gave her one so she would be okay through out the day." Kim nodded and placed the midfielders medicine on the counter and said "how's she doing?" Lydia replied "she's asleep so that's a good sign." Cari told them "We are taking Moe with us to practice tomorrow so she can get used to running again. It's part of her physical therapy also." Jeff asked "how long until she going to be fully better?" They shrugged not knowing how to answer.

After a few hours Moe's eyes fluttered open and she was alone and was scared and confused. She decided to stand and use her cane for support and reached the stairs and got onto the first step and edged herself onto it she grabbed the railing on the side and got halfway up and felt weak so she let herself fall and curled into a ball trying to regain her strength.
