From when I seen your shadow
I reached for you
Hoping to feel you by
Me once again
Remembering all we went
Through from thick to thin
Your more than a friend
To me, you are like
A sibling I never had
Always by my side when
I needed, giving me advice
We were closer than we imagined
We had a bond like no
Other
We understood each other
A part that no one else
Knew from
You are part of my world
Like many others
But you stand out
From the rest
Giving me strength
Through your words
I am glad to have
Known someone
Like you
