(forever isn't for everyone, is forever for you?)

The next couple of days their spirit was high, but it was going back to where it was. She didn't want to give him any false hope -nor herself for that matter-, so one week later he came home with dinner, only to find a letter and a flash memory waiting for him, the last couple of lines said:

"… you and i, we had our moments, but... we're just not meant for each other.
i hope you would understand, i can't explain it, i'm just on the look for home... whenever you need me, i'll be there, as your friend. I'm sorry, i hope we won't run into each other for a long long time. be well and work hard, goodbye.

p.s. I made a copy of that music, I won't give it to anyone else, I promise"

he cried that night, and many other nights after that. even years later, he would still cry, when his heart is beating fast, when he's on stage, when he catches a glimpse of her in the audience.
