I walk through the calm woods of Unicornia, my hands brushing across the rows of flowers and various plants. The warm air swimming through my hair, The bright sun beating down on me as I walk back to the familiar cabin I live in with my great uncle Steve. As I open the door the strong smell of meat fills my senses. I walk into the kitchen and see Martha smiling at me. Mason is closely behind her his arms crossed and a angry look on his face. I roll my eyes as I walk past Mason. I hear him scoff at me. I ignore him and walk away my footsteps echo the soft noises draw me into the memory.
'' Hurry up Mauris we're almost here'' Mason yells happily.
I run close behind him. Martha is in front with Mason her long brown hair bouncing up and down behind her. I quickly catch up a grin on my face as we run through the woods my cousin's and I....The only difference I was only 8 years old and now that I am 13 mason and I hate each other because of what happened next. The sky and clouds all go to a dark blue and rain begins pouring. We all stop and look up at the sky nervously then back at each other. I hold my hands up to the sky and murmurs '' Sun.''
The clouds and sky turn to a darker color instead of obeying the commands. My eyes go wide as a lighting bolt strikes right next to Martha. I feel the force send me back against a tree. Mason runs over and helps me up. Our eyes both drift over to Martha she is on the ground unconscious, We both run over. I hold my hand on her heart, I gulp and say.
'' Her heart isn't beating...''
Mason and I run to grunkle steeve with Martha in Mason's hand. We beg grunkle so save her, he warns us to never use our powers like that again and heals her.
I shake my head, pulling myself out of the memory. There's nothing I can do now it's all over and done with. I take a deep breath and go into my room and grab the book. The forbidden book the notebook of great uncle Steve. I take it out and set it on the table right in front of Martha and Mason.
'' Rule number one, No touchy.'' I point at the book '' Rule two no taking.'' I glare at Mason. '' And rule number three absolutely no reading it!''
