"Oh fuck off Louis" I laugh as he puts the now empty packet of chocolate onto the kitchen surface.
"Snooze you loose; you know this sunshine" He said with a smirk across his face.
I shook my head, a small smile still tugging at my lips. "I can't believe you're leaving me for a whole week" I pouted.
"Aw is someone going to miss me" he said in his baby voice pinching at my cheeks.
"Only a little" I say pushing my hands off my face. "Can't you just stay here?" I giggle.
"It's the first time me and Matty are going to be at dads at the same time in ages. Can't bail" he said leaning against the counter I was sat on.
"You have to FaceTime me then. You can't leave me completely by myself. I'd end up topping myself in the science labs"
He chuckles, "yeah please don't do that"
I shove his shoulder and shake my head.

The longer my day went on, the more boring it became. I didn't think I relayed on Louis this much, but I obviously did.
At lunch I sat with the girls, you know pretending I cared about who was going with who to prom. I didn't fit in at all with them.

"Are you going with Louis?" Sophie asked from across the table
I shrugged. "I don't even know if we're both going, never mind together"
"I ship it" Millie said taking a bite of her pizza.
"Guys they're just friends" jess laughed, half sticking up for me, half taking the piss.
I rolled my eyes and stood up.
"I need to pee"
I walked to the bathroom and text Louis
'Call me when you can Lou xx'
Almost immediately after I sent the text I got a call from Louis.
'Hey, are you okay?' His worries voice filled my ears.
'I'm just bored, you didn't have to call me right away'
'We've stopped at a service station, Mums gone to get food so'
'Good old Denise, how's the drive?'
'Traffic isn't too bad, how's school'
'Boring, so incredibly boring. I have art next, whose going to take the piss out of Mr Clark with me?'
'I miss you too sunshine'
I sighed. 'The bells gunna go, I'll see you later Lou'
"Yeah, see you" he said and hung up the phone.
Damn I missed him.

The bell rang as I stepped out of the bathroom and made my way to the art room. It was on top floor at the back of the building facing out onto the field. I sat on mine and Lou's usual table and got my drawing pad out. I had been doing my project for the past few weeks, it was finally coming along. The painting was of a girl, her knees to her chest. A lot of black shading and dripping paint. The project was on fear and teenage years.

How angsty.

I popped my earphones in and played the soft tunes of LANY. I carried on shading the girls hair and adding some more details to the drawing to finish it up. I wasn't the best artist in the world, but I tried and I really loved it. After deciding my drawing was completely finished I took it over to the project wrack and slid it in. Louis' piece he finished last week was sitting above it. A kite, the background was brightly coloured and beautiful with the kite not being touched by any pencil at all. He said it was something to do with how no matter how you feel, the world is going to carry on. With or with out you. We are insignificant. He's a pretty deep dude. I closed the wrack and walked back to my seat starting on the annotations that went along with my drawing. This was the bit I didn't love so much. Having to explain my every thought whilst designing my piece. No matter how boring or insightful.

The main character (imogen) isn't based on any of Matty/louis' relationships so don't come for me.
