~First Chapter <3~
Welcome to the loony bin. Its actually not as bad as people make it out to be. Its only a hell hole for the ones who actually don't belong here. I do belong here, I have every reason to stay. Its not like a jail, we live in luxury rooms, with the best appliances. Its like living in a hotel, with the holiday never ending. The food here is the best my mouth has ever tasted.
But if you're wondering how I got here, well you will have to make a guess. Its a story I wont ever tell, not unless I'm dying or I found love. Which love doesn't exist anymore, so dying would be the only option. Not only has love seized to exist, but so has God. He proved his nonexistent love with taking the life of one of my closest friends here, Jessica. Sometimes I see here, usually in my dreams. The other times I see her through the words I speak. One thing I wont forget that Jessica taught me was "Know the difference between love and lust, Lust will kill you inside and love will save you." I didn't get it at first and I didn't have to, it was a lesson that needed to be learned and needed time.
While I was sitting on the bench in the lobby thinking of all I just thought, a boy walked in. It seemed so odd, that after mentioning something so detailed and deep, that an angelic looking boy walks in. I could tell he didn't want to be here, and was going to put up a fight to get out. He had messy curly-ish hair and his knee was seen through a rip in his very tight skinny jeans. Although I enjoyed staring at him, I had to look away. He saw me and I could not let him see too far into my soul, so I walked upstairs. I glanced back too look one more time and he was already staring at me. Something danced along my skin, goosebumps.
I went back to my room, leaving the door open because for some reason I'm 'suicidal' and cant be trusted alone. That was a bit of a hit to why I am here. Some people say I speak too formally, but when you're in a place for so long, creating a character makes things more exciting.
I turned on my TV to watch Saved by the Bell, a classic oldy. I sat on the couch, and suddenly saw someone walk in. I smiled and stood up to face the boy.
"Hi, I'm Harry. "
"Ember- what are you doing here?"
"Well you left your door open and I just wanted to make a friend here, if I'm going to be here for a while."
"Well Harry- I have to leave my door open, Its a rule for me. And I'm glad you have realized that trying to get out of here, only makes you stay longer. But I like here, so I don't know why people would want to leave." He sighed and came to sit down on my couch.
"You seem interesting, but really weird. I like it though." His right eye squinted while he smirked.
"Thanks. You seem conceited, but I guess it could be a misunderstanding. I like misunderstood people."
I watched him smile big, and he patted for me to sit next to him. I followed his command and sat down.
"How long have you been in here?"
"Three years." He almost choked.
"What! That is so long. Do you think that I'll be here that long?"
"No, you don't belong here. Nothing is wrong with you." He laughed slightly.
" You don't know me, or how I got in here. I belong here, but I wish I didn't."
"Well, I don't care about how you got here, and I can tell you don't belong here." I smiled.
"How did you get-"
"I don't tell that story, and I actually am feeling tired so, I-I think you should leave." I stood up and walked him to the door. He looked confused, but didn't object.
"I'm sorry if I hurt you already, but I want to see you tomorrow." I nodded and walked back to the bed. I laid down and talked to Jessica.
"Jessica, I'm worried. Is this love or Lust?"
