"But they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint."~Isaiah 40:31
In life we as people, experience different things. We go through many different trials and tribulations. when you are experiencing some difficulties in life,who is the first person that you go to when you are weak? Who is the first person that you talk to guidance? Who is the first person that you talk to for comfort?
God placed people in our life, no doubt, to help us when we our in need. However, we should always go to God first and seek for his guidance. You see, man isn't perfect. We all have sinned and go through our own struggles. The best person to go to is God. Numbers 23:19 says, "God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent; Has He said, and will He not do it? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?"
So after we have went to God through prayer, what do we do next? Well my friend, we wait. We wait on God's answer. Now his answer may or may not be what you expected. Here are some possible reasons why. Let's say you want to know what your calling/purpose. So you go to God and ask him to reveal to you he has for you. In some special way (a soft voice a dream|vision or something different.{he can speak to us in many different ways})he tells you not yet.
Sadly that wasn't the answer you wanted. Just know that God isn't being mean or trying to hold you back. Maybe it could be because your not ready. There might be something so big in your future that you can't know yet. So don't worry! God didn't bring this far to leave or forget you. Deuteronomy 31:6 says, "Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you." We have confidence in knowing that God would never leave us behind. He has a purpose for your life. The question is- "Are you willing to wait?"
The next time you go through something in life, please go to God first. He loves you so much and he wants you to talk with him. That's how our relationship with him becomes stronger. Just talk with him and be willing to wait.
